    I've been to his satsangs with Francis several times. He is a beautiful being who radiates a powerful field of awareness and love, so brilliant and incredibly kind. I highly recommend him as a teacher for anyone seeking self-realization.

      I would like to know how are his retreats and specialy his yoga meditations. Could we talk by zoom or WhatsApp or something like that. I have been following them for years , Rupert Spira, Francis, Krishnamurti, Lester levenson, John Wheeler, David Bingham etc. I never had the means to attend One of their retreats só i would like to talk to some One that has been there experiencialy. I Will wait for your reply 🙏

    Beautiful interview...I like the way Francis put it. The point is that today is impossible to spend time with the teacher , they are too busy, too popular and cannot spend time with 'the students' . My teacher is becoming more and more popular, I went to his last retreat, one week, 4 hours meetings daily with other 80 people but it was impossible to approach him , let alone 'spend a little time together' , he was always with his people or busy on the computer. Good for Francis that could become his teacher 's friend and could spend time with him outside the 'formal' teaching! This is the real direct path!

      Hmm, I guess it's time to find your own teacher in you, inside of you.........cause, in truth, the other teachers are nothing but an outer expression of your own self.

    • @Sydebern
      @Sydebern 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is one of the biggest reasons i don't seek the teaching in personal contact with another human being that has become a master. There are more than enough teachings to find on the internet. We have to confirm the teachings ourself anyways. Also, what 13x60 said is true. The only teacher is your true self, whether it expresses itself through your body or that of another makes no difference at all.

      13x60 I Agree. Thank you

      Sydebern I see your point and agree, but , in reality , I have to say that 'true awakening' whatever it means, almost always comes with the direct contact and relationship between 'a teacher' ( don't like this word but for lack of a better term) and 'the participant' ...there are many famous examples: Nisargadatta, Papaji, Klein, Lucille, Spira, Adya, Mukti, Gangaji, to name a few. I think there is a big value in this. And yes everything is 'the teacher' , couldn't be otherwise but.....

    Thanks for this Rick, this is a beautiful and thoughtfully conducted interview - you just seemed to let it evolve. I have only recently come across Francis on TH-cam and read his "The Perfume of Silence" and found what he is saying clarifies my own thoughts and experiences;I must say that the interview has given me a much deeper respect and love for the man and his work

    rick, thank you for your insight at 39:20-39:25, when you said that, somthing really shifted in me. i think deep down i had the anticipation of it being this "big thing that had to happen" and when you said that i just kind of, "woke up" and relized it was just like you said, just a relaxed state.

    True. Consciousness is not exempt from being a provisional concept. In this sense, we can step down the ladder one rung at a time, dissolving or destroying each concept until nothing is left.

    I'm living in Belgium. I would like to meet Françis Lucille. To me he is really clear. Deep and profound awakening took place and it could be awesome to dialogue with this man... to cut trough some leftovers of some conditionnings and to establish more firmly into "it". I was waiting for this interview and i am not dissapointed. Thanks Rick.

    I was a very harsh speaker and people used to hate me because of my speech.
    I loved the concept so much that, I started practicing it regularly and i used the "BuDhamma" mobile app to help me on this.
    Now, I speak gentle and my people are very happy with me.

    is the speaker saying we are the greater consciousness? if so, i do not agree with this. we are part of the greater consciousness, but we are not it. a seed is not the tree from which it came. when you experience the greater consciousness you are overwhelmed with both how insignificant you are and how great it is. the crushing love and acceptance of the greater consciousness is not you meeting you. but, you do recognize it as your home. you did not build this home, but it is your home.

    The interviewer says something about how few are the people who experience "consciousness in its pure form". But consciousness is just another word for reality and reality is just another word for actuality--i.e., NOW. And NOW is always full on. It has no levels.Like a lot of meditators, the interviewer recalls his daily highs and that memory says:I am the Real Consciousness, not this watery stuff you are Now experiencing.But, if it is not now, it is imaginary. Period. No?

    Every religion and every inspired spiritual teacher tell some parts of the truth about life. Finally, there's a clear and complete explanation of truth available for free. It perfectly explains who we are and what are we doing here. This knowledge can and will evolve us into spiritual beings.

    The 5 Consciousness, the full consciousness is universal is not limited and how can it not be evident? To listen to, to taste, to smell, to touch, to see is not inherent in all beings who manifest in this realm of rebirth? (some disable beings as blind, deaf does not possess full consciousness). As long beings are not liberate from the cycle of birth, old age, decay & eventually death, consciousness will always be, ad infinitum.
    It is only by the complete cessation of craving, grasping, contact, feeling, volition (process of cause & effect) are replaced by wisdom, the rebirth process, which is the 5 consciousness life-flux, can no longer manifest. True liberation are achieved and the light of enlightenment let you be as it is without any complain, in stillness and in eternal joy. The joy of liberation! ....namaste

    i WOULD LIKE A " OLD FASHION"ZEN MASTER TO WALK IN & HIT FRANCIS WITH A STICK ON THE HAND, SAYING SOMETHING "ZEN OR NONZENSE" LIKE: "I WANTED TO HURT THE STICK" , ' LUCKILY THE HAMMER & YOUR HAND ARE 0NE, &ONE CAN'T HURT ITSELF ( OR WHATEVER ZENMASTERS COME UP WITH)
    francis lucille seems like a good man, so do not take my comment to literary please..

    • @freddagg8813
      @freddagg8813 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      so you are a body experiencing conciousness?.

    • @spiritualanarchist8162
      @spiritualanarchist8162 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      i have a body..and i am conscious... you? the comment. above is based on a experience i had many years ago. .. One day, i tried to 'explain'to my Sensei, how i experienced ' all was one '...,He slapped me on the hand, and asked quasi surprised
      'why are you angry ,and waving with your hand ?. 'As the stick, and your hand are one. 'How can the one hurt itself ? Better go back to zazen now''
      Then he left me to 'stew' for a while .My mind in 'shock ,
      My hand was hurting ...( But not as much much as my pride..;-) .
      O.K.. I was a lot younger, and not near so eloquent as Francis...
      But later I understood the message behind his radical action. .'All is one'. but all is not 'the same '
      P.s:.This was the first ( and last) time he used this' method ' I do not wish to enforce the stereotype of the randomly hitting Zen master. He was quite gentle.

      i didnt understand your comment at all then sounds like you got some funny stories up your sleeves :)

    • @spiritualanarchist8162
      @spiritualanarchist8162 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fred Dagg Yes. re-reading my own comment , i realize it sounds rather violent. Like wishing Lucille some bodily harm... And yes i like to tell stories. the description of my Y.T channel goes something like 'for those who do not take themselves not to serious, but still like to debate serious issues ? ..( i forgot the rest) followed by a mix of 'eccentric humor' animations, independent underground music and philosophy Needles to say, very view feel the need to 'join ';-)
      But though i 'spiced-up ' some of these anecdotes. They did happen...well...most of them anyway....

    • @bobaldo2339
      @bobaldo2339 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is direct experience. "Consciousness" is an assumed quality that makes experience possible. But apart from direct experience there is no "consciousness". It is a concept added on to what is really "there". By the way, "non-dual" means "not two". It can take 30 years to progress from "all is one" to "not two".

    Let's se now, because everybody believes there is something called "consciousness' (which cannot be proven according to Lucille), and everybody would laugh at anyone who said there was no such thing, therefore (!) what????? Therefore, because everybody believes something it must be true? That is absurd!

      Oh I'm very content with my life happiness is an ugly thing. There is no such thing as happiness that's just a desire that is created from your misery these guys are all trying to speak on something that can't be sold or talked about. Well why not it makes me money and fame that's why he is happy. It's all illusions to think some body can bring you happiness through words lol. You must look inside not outside to dispel the darkness in oneself not to find the light. No such thing as light inside you only darkness that needs to be seen

    Consciousness is nothing at all, and cannot be counted. As such, there is neither "one" nor "many." There's just Consciousness, prior to the realm of objects and the concept of quantity. We can say that there is one consciousness if we know this, but it will appear as a paradox if we don't.

    i dont get the guru worship. if i needed my car fixed i wouldnt call a guru. my life is much more important than my car, so why would i call someone that cant even fix my physical object, to fix my spiritual object? its all happy talk. no one can fix you except you. get to work and stop asking someone else to do your job. you have been given everything you need to get the job done. stop wasting your time asking others how to fix yourself. they will never know you like you know you.
