“We now have the right assailant in the botched assassination of Gen. Katumba” - Police

- Police says they have arrested the actual assailant who attempted to assassinate Gen. Edward Katumba Wamala but unfortunately the targets were were off-targets but accurate for his daughter Brenda Nantongo who lost her life in the mix.
According to the deputy inspector general of police Paul Lokech the CCTV camera footage aided the arrests.
One of the suspects was also killed when he fought back at police during the arrest.

With so many atrocities committed by police it is hard to believe their credibility. Many times the perpetrators are left and innocent people are arrested and killed.
This whole story doesn't make sense. If the cameras were stolen, how have you reached this conclusion?
I am not a fool like many Ugandans who believe without reasoning - explain pls how you came to your conclusion.
And why did you kill the suspect without trying him in court?
To any reasoning Ugandan, this report has so many gaps. It does not connect at all.
You just want to make Ugandans and the international community to believe that you are doing your work.
I am not convinced at all.
Now what about the first suspects you arrested and detained?

In good faith....i just hope they have the right people and no more gunmen...people need to live in peace.Katumba wamala is just one of best heroes leave alone the natural grace i have for him.We must have our real heroes protected,not cowards.
I know the president ,HE Museveni,the best president as far as Africa is concerned means well as always unlike some of the people he works with that turnish his image....

Honestly i cant say you are wrong or right....what i dont understand just like another person said here on the comments "its not a surprise that the culprit is an ADF because the president had hinted at it days ago in his public speach." Like though Lokech would have a choice than to ensure his boss was right ,.
@@silandpower3944 that's how it's meant to be to keep ordinary Ugandans in the dark. Just like you have that mind that probably the president is a good person but the people surrounding him are bad. I would like to use a simple analogy, our president is aware that we don't have oxygen in hospitals and uganda can manufacture oxygen but the ministry decides to purchase oxygen from abroad and so the president throws blames yet he is the one that approves the mo eh for purchases

His own daughter dead, him self injured and his beloved driver. Who is the owner of those guns.
