Attempted assassination of Gen. Katumba. Suspected assailants remanded to Kitalya on 4 counts.

Five suspects have been a reigned before Nakawa grade one magistrate court and charged with 4 counts of attempted assassination of Gen Edward Katumba Wamala and murder of his drive and daughter Brenda Nantongo Katumba.
Due to lack of jurisdiction by Magistrate Singiza Douglas to handle some of the charges against the accused, court remanded them to Kitalya government prison until 3 August 2021.
