One good use case I've thought of for the remote since making this vid: if the person going after you in the turn order dies first, use the remote at the end of the round so that you go second in the new round 👌
@@delightfulkissboy8926 or use the remote if the person going after you has a move you see that kills you 100% of the time if they take it but the person before you can’t.
To be fair. There is a big social aspect. if you are playing way too efficient (Adrenaline Skipping turns. Sawoff shooting) you might become a public enemy. This is an important part of some games that have a 4 way interaction scheme (Like commander) sometimes the most efficient play is to play the worst moce to allow someone else an advantage. So play efficient but not TOO efficient as where peple start to go against you
Also bc of that social aspect, you can actually "trade" with the other players, making the not-so-useful items more useful (like trading the info from the burner phone to the player that gets to shoot that shell, etc.)
By the beginning of this video, I was wondering "why the hell didn't he give you an early access copy?" By the end of it, I understood exactly why. Subscriber for life, you keep it up man.
By the way, I had this design for a higher-stakes four player mode I've been discussing with my group, whom we play real life tabletop BR with. The rules go like this: - Players take turns in a clockwise order like in the official multiplayer mode, starting with a random player. - You can only shoot the players with the highest HP (or yourself). This stops players from ganging up on one person, but the situations in which multiple players have the same amount of health and you can choose between them are still plenty common. - If one player dies, a new round starts without them, with items being cleared off the table, new loadout being generated, and the remaining players' HP being restored to maximum. - The game continues until only one player is alive. So it's a mode designed to determine a single, ultimate winner, with the tension rising as players drop one by one. One more change we made (tested in the two player mode we've been running so far) is having the adrenaline act as a way to COPY another player's item, not STEAL it. Prevents the adrenaline's presence on the table from feeling too oppressive.
If it does work like that, round 2 really sounds like the prisoners dilemma. What a nightmare lol. You'd have every player making themselves weaker to die first while round 1 winner cleans them up. So if everyone is playing selfishly, then round 1 could actually be the most important round. Of course if you have some altruists, then round 3 becomes more important.
You think that's bad? There's also a channel called "BeastPlay" (which is misspelled as "BeatsPlay") and one called "RushPlay" (yes, as in the entity Rush from hit Roblox game Doors) that seemingly shared a match (although a different one from the other -Plays)
It’d be interesting to study player psychology in how round 3 can be won. Like, if going first is truly advantageous, that player might immediately get targeted (not to mention being the first to SHOOT SOMEONE will create an enemy right off the bat, who’s almost guaranteed to reciprocate).
Targeting the previous player of the turn also has an added benefit of putting the aggro on the last player that would take revenge on you if they want to. If you shoot the previous player and they want revenge, they'll have to wait for the other two players (if it's a 4 player game) to take their turn first. This buys you time and increases the chance that the previous player either gets killed before they have a chance to get revenge, or cools their head, or take aggro for another player instead of you.
Regarding the Remote's usage - although pretty niche, I think there is a scenario where it can directly benefit the user. Say there are 2 blanks and 1 live, and it's your turn. With the help of the Magnifying Glass or the Phone, you know that the order is Live - Blank - Blank, meaning you must shoot someone and let the gun pass to the next person. Now that would normally be safe for you, but say the next guy has an Inverter, but the one before you doesn't. If I understand it correctly, using the Remote in this particular scenario is directly saving you or someone else a health state, so while extremely niche, it can be beneficial
I never thought I would be so addicted to powerpoint presentation gambling analysis content but here we are and I cannot get enough. Keep it up Smoochlad 👍
I hope the scoring does work as described because I like the sound of this round two minigame. Two (presumably wounded) players have to turn on a dime and fight a full hp opponent together the moment someone dies.
The remove is useful if you use the social aspect of it. If the person going next is low on health, you can remote and have the person next to you finish them off
I look forward to the 31st. I think it's gonna be a blast. Perhaps the dealer was way too predictable after a while, so multiplayer will probably last longer. Unless of course, everyone figures out the meta and becomes just as predictable, but I don't think that's too likely. Someone will always do something unexpected every once in a while.
Mind games may also be a cool strategy. Burner phone to claim what a certain round is and either buy credibility with that player if you're right or get them to do an unwise move is an interesting aspect.
The update came out yesterday and I played a few matches. So far, your strat is giving me a pretty good winrate so thanks 🥳 The only thing I've not been doing is killing myself round 2 because I don't trust the randoms to target round 1's winner (so far I've been proven right). Now, useful tip I've only thought of afterwards is if the winner of round 1 is targeted and ragequits, you can still go for the killing yourself angle.
This is a training video brought to you by DKB - on making sweaty players, even sweatier i enjoy your content lol, keep it up. so glad to be a part of and see your channel(s) grow
A thought I had is that if you WIN round 1, everyone’s going to be gunning for you in round 2 so you’re better off trying to die to go first in round 3. But, in a 4 player game, going first might not make THAT much of a difference to justify throwing round 2 if you can win it right there and then.
I dont have that much experience but still wanna share my thoughts about strategies (yeah none of my friends want to play it lol) 1. In singleplayer if i saw an adrenaline on dealer's domain i'd always use all of my cigarettes, cuz most of the time when i didnt he would just steal them because he got hit because i shot him. I think for multiplayer you should do this: new loadout started, you see if someone has adrenaline, you probably wanna use your cigarettes cuz if you dont, even if the next guy is full hp he might still steal your cigarettes so nobody else has them in the future. It ofc will also depend on how many adrenalines vs useful items on the table are. Basically the more adrenalines you see the faster you want to get rid of your cigarettes. Even if nobody has adrenaline this loadout, you sitll might wana use your cigarettes at least before the next loadout starts, because your death sticks are gonna stay on table unused while other player might loot a steal stick and use it on your cigarettes if his turn is first. So i'd say in this game you keep all the good items only if you know for sure that no one is gonna steal them before you get to use them yeah. Cigarettes are not the exception. 2. Im not sure if the number of round you win in affects how much money you make. I could easily be wrong but i like to think that its just as in singleplayer - the less time (or less items, dont remember) your turns take the more money you get. Anyway personally im even more interested in some endless matches until we get tired rather than best of 3, where each round matters only in the context of the round itself and just adds a 1 or 0 to your global round win count in the whole match. If how you make turns doesnt affect money amount at all in multiplayer, i would make it so its just a best of 3 and its rather like a ranking list in the end. Like it would just display who won how many rounds and you can instantly get that if it was 3 players and each won 1 round its like a tie, or if its 4 players and 1 player didnt win once its like hes the only one who "lost". And if someone got 2 rounds he won ofc. 3. As you said, if you shoot yourself with a blank then you gonna move first next loadout. I played some roblox interpretations of buckshot roulette with multiplayer and it worked the same there, and therefore some strats come out: - If the last shell is a blank better shoot yourself with it, i fully agree with you here. - If the last shell is live/unknown, and you see that you cant execute your opponent this turn, better throw the shell out using beer so you get to go first on the next loadout where you might get new advantage and items that let you actually execute your opponent now without even giving him a chance to move. The bear in general can help you not letting others to shoot you, especially when you drop the live shell out of the chamber. So the core of my strategy both in roblox multiplayer and orginal singleplayer always was: try not to give your opponent any turns as much as possible. Ofc this will be more situational in 4 player lobby but sometimes the game gives you the perfect opportunity. People are probably gonna call you sweaty nerdy smelly tryhard for that tho.
I think those are some pretty good points. One thing about beer tho: I saw from one of the gameplay vids, using a beer to eject the last shell does not appear to keep your turn for the next loadout. I was surprised by that too. And yeah, the amount you win from round-to-round is pretty opaque as of right now, so may need to adjust my strategy once we know more about how it works. However, I haven't seen any instances where someone who wins the 3rd round doesn't win, so that's what I've been going off of
if people were following the strategy you suggest of shooting the person to your left this also makes 3rd position a good spot as there is no risk until after your turn but already 3 shots taken on your opponents.
Great insight, though I want to say I think it is a mistake to focus on the person who goes before you on Round 1 (Unless it's a kill shot). The reason why is because I consider the priority in the first round as staying alive and avoiding the potential for large swings of focus fire in your direction. The easiest way to die in Round 1 is to have the guy who goes before you hit you with a remote, forcing you to take 5 potential shots before you get to react (even more if you get hit with a jammer). In the same vein, the person who goes after you can also start a 3-turn focus fire naturally, and they have the most potential to help you with remotes giving the turn right back to you. With this info combined, I argue that the best strategy for winning Round 1 is to play nice with your neighbors and focus on the guy across from you.
I was worried multiplayer would be kind of flowcharty and boring but now im confident its going to be awesome. The kind of mindgames im imagining people could do...
IDK why they changed handcuffs to jammers. Handcuffs are way more thematic and functionally the same. Also, I'm not sure if jammers are stackable or not. As for remotes, I could see it useful if you're co-operating with a player, essentially you could skip someone's turn 2 or 3 times if you work with a friend(s) (but that may be cheating and not in the spirit of the game)
If you check the amount of rounds that can fit in the belt (or whatever it's called) to load into the shotgun, 10 rounds can fit. So theoretically, a loadout of 10 rounds is possible but it's probably programmed to occur less likely or not at all (which would be a bummer because I want it to happen). Also other things to point out: - Remote is actually kind of powerful because it's kind of a nerfed jammer. Because other people can use it to help each other out and keep you out of the game, if you won round 1. I also think it's not bad to steal the remote so that they can't use it against you to keep out of the game. Like it'd be very bad if two players have a remote except you and they team up so that they can potentially deal more damage to you by keeping the game to themselves and only targeting you. - Having to go first gives you an advantage but at the same time, it's not really great since everyone would be trying to kill you immediately. I feel like the risks over-weigh the benefits; you'd have to try and stay alive against 3 players that would be ganging up on you and it's gonna be totally up to your luck and mental fortitude to even have a chance of surviving in such a situation. - A more fun game would be if the player who won round 1 won't even try to win round 2 because everyone would just be trying to win the last round without much pressure, which I think the majority of players will be behaving.
im guessing you already know, but in case you didn't, Multiplayer seems to be in open beta now! It seems there's no public matchmaking yet but you can invite people :D
You missed an important fact about a new subject skipping a turn. When a player cannot walk, his health is not displayed, as I understand it, neither to him nor to everyone. And the game circle changer is not useless. After you comes a player with a knife, there is only one bullet left, loaded, and he wants to kill you. You just change the code, and it doesn't work, and another player might want to kill someone else.
If going first is best I think you should try to speedrun even if you wont he first round. Like is there really any chance you win round 1 and 2 if people are ganging up on you? Unless they all get low health before one of them dies.
Potentially true, but I can't tell yet. It still seems like it might be worth it to try to go for the win round 2. Also whoever goes first in R2 is at an advantage for speedrunning life technically lol
if all players follow the REMOTE dilemma, then in a situation when 1 dood for some reason still has 4hp left and everyone else is 1-2 low, using the remote might finish him off\lower him to the same hp and allow for more fair environment. That assumes everyone is playing "by the book" and commits to making the game as RNGless as possible. instant edit: i mean, if this 4hp player is right after you.
Really hope you're wrong on who wins the game. Because either rounds 1 and 2 are meaningless or round 3 is. At that point just make it a 1 round game with 6 hp per player and call it a day.
The one who keeps count the best wins and obviously the luckiest 1:56 while they're trying to get candy you're focused on cash. I respect that also same 2:41 I think it's as simple as who wins the most rounds out of the 3 2:59 also also catplay ISN'T a coincidence they are actually a friend of foxplay there's also pugplay and a 4th xplay I forgot the name of. The channels actually have the same footage but from different players' perspectives
In one of those games, a different player wins each of the 3 rounds. The game says that the player who won the 3rd round won the whole thing. That means that you need to win either the first 2 rounds or the 3rd round to win as far as I can tell
@@delightfulkissboy8926Well here’s some misplays I noticed. People not taking guaranteed Kills when they could easily force another player to spectate in grayscale vision. Sure if I won Round 1 I’m Helping the player who goes before me Spread their brains across the floor if they’re blatantly attempting that(Magnifying glass, Saw, Self, and It was live levels of wanting to die first.) just to go 2nd in Round 3. About that: Death in a round has your character who looks like a masked dealer to the others not get up. They’re spectating with grayscale vision until the next round. Also a Dead player’s items aren’t cleared until the round ends. This only matters once the Adrenaline comes into play.
Has the Dealer's AI improved? In a previous video you say the dealer has a 50/50 chance of just shooting himself or you regardless of the shell count, is this still the case? I've put about 2/3 hours into the game today and the dealer almost never shot himself and when he did, it was always a blank. Am I just the unluckiest person on earth?
that is literally threat assessment if everyone knows that in information, in psychology of games on multiplayer it is normal. I know some game design and like see and play some Commander and if you play like a turn one sol ring everyone will think you are the enemy immediatly.
You forgot 1 important scenario: people who always team up. In my game, 2 of the same people always team up. They even team up when its obvious one member will immediately die by the other in the next round. It makes the game unfun because it always goes the same way. Increase that to 3 against you and you will never win. Buckshot Roulette is a cool quirky single player game. As a multiplayer, it is not a good game.
I feel like they should add more cooperative items. I was thinking something like a "pen". When you use it on someone, you sign a a contract, which makes it so you can't shoot them, and they can't shoot you. However, it dissolves if it's just you both remaining.
How to win: Shoot Based on Probability, Don't Make Huge Mistake and Believe in God (Who is dead) About Coincidence foxplay and Catplay. There (are 4 such Channels, RushPlay Foxplay catPlay pufPlay. and they were essentially given early access and they Played with each other and posted the Gameplay. )

Edging my seat.
kissboy Is The Kind Of Guy Endgame Marvel Heroes would want to find out the ending where thanos dies out of million posibilities
4:47 CGP Grey would be proud
I can't believe Mike buffed eating a shell.
im guessing you already know, but in case you didn't, Multiplayer seems to be in open beta now!
It seems there's no public matchmaking yet but you can invite people :D
after watching some footage I can say human minds are way more unpredictable than the AIs
WHAT but delightful kissboi, you posted and I didn't get a notification? 😢
You missed an important fact about a new subject skipping a turn. When a player cannot walk, his health is not displayed, as I understand it, neither to him nor to everyone. And the game circle changer is not useless. After you comes a player with a knife, there is only one bullet left, loaded, and he wants to kill you. You just change the code, and it doesn't work, and another player might want to kill someone else.
speedrun life strat is really funny
I see you finally remembered "Lazy Susan"
DKB character development 👌
I don't understand why you couldn't just pick up handcuffs and click on the player you wanted to skip.
Good point
I think for gameplay purposes its visually easier to see a players health bar is turned off than show cuffed hands
This would mean the remote is useful if the first person to die is the one on your right
LETSS GOOO
If going first is best I think you should try to speedrun even if you wont he first round. Like is there really any chance you win round 1 and 2 if people are ganging up on you? Unless they all get low health before one of them dies.
Potentially true, but I can't tell yet. It still seems like it might be worth it to try to go for the win round 2. Also whoever goes first in R2 is at an advantage for speedrunning life technically lol
@@delightfulkissboy8926yes the other players want you as a bloodstain on the table ASAP
Delightfullkissboy Buckshot Esports team when?
eating my halloween candy and watching this + your other buckshot roulette vids while waiting for the definitive multiplayer strat guide :3
Thought this would never come out
Multiplayer just dropped for everyone. What time is the community play stream?
Have you played it yet? Should be out now
Hey Dad
I need the soundtrack for multiplayer on Spotify ASAP
if all players follow the REMOTE dilemma, then in a situation when 1 dood for some reason still has 4hp left and everyone else is 1-2 low, using the remote might finish him off\lower him to the same hp and allow for more fair environment. That assumes everyone is playing "by the book" and commits to making the game as RNGless as possible.
instant edit: i mean, if this 4hp player is right after you.
Guys, do his words about winning stack with reality?
What if for Beer only YOU see what the ejected shell was and not the other players, that could make it better
Really hope you're wrong on who wins the game. Because either rounds 1 and 2 are meaningless or round 3 is. At that point just make it a 1 round game with 6 hp per player and call it a day.
Gotta say I kinda agree with ya, but we'll have to see
The one who keeps count the best wins and obviously the luckiest 1:56 while they're trying to get candy you're focused on cash.
@@delightfulkissboy8926seems plausible
@@delightfulkissboy8926Also I'm playing the update rn 1 live 1 blank CAN appear in 3 player games
Do you stream? You need to stream this
26:46 so try and get your brains spread across the table ASAP if you lose round 1?
As far as I can tell! If the game works differently than I think it does, I'll make a followup vid 👌
@@delightfulkissboy8926they should really weight score by how much damage you did then
@@delightfulkissboy8926Well here’s some misplays I noticed.
This only matters once the Adrenaline comes into play.
bro is already min maxing
It’s happening
It does look fun.
"(When it comes out)"
Console players who still haven't even gotten the base game yet: 💀
Has the Dealer's AI improved? In a previous video you say the dealer has a 50/50 chance of just shooting himself or you regardless of the shell count, is this still the case? I've put about 2/3 hours into the game today and the dealer almost never shot himself and when he did, it was always a blank. Am I just the unluckiest person on earth?
In 2 player multiplayer, does the Jammer get replaced by Handcuffs?
From what I saw, no, the jammer replaces handcuffs even in 1v1
@@delightfulkissboy8926 Huh. Wonder what happens if you press a button on the Jammer in a direction a player isn't.
that is literally threat assessment if everyone knows that in information, in psychology of games on multiplayer it is normal. I know some game design and like see and play some Commander and if you play like a turn one sol ring everyone will think you are the enemy immediatly.
can you make some about liars bar?
You forgot 1 important scenario: people who always team up. In my game, 2 of the same people always team up. They even team up when its obvious one member will immediately die by the other in the next round. It makes the game unfun because it always goes the same way. Increase that to 3 against you and you will never win. Buckshot Roulette is a cool quirky single player game. As a multiplayer, it is not a good game.
nice new mic
Actually not a new mic, just been foolin around with audio settings 👌
I hope you could just join a random lobby. So if I’m lucky enough, I could be in one of your videos. Probably not even if that’s how it works.
Mike Klubnika was the one that disliked this video.
People made this om roblox
3:40 You spelt Multiplayer as Mutliplayer
dont know if anyone corrected you on that im just 3m in and i noticed
It's just that easy
I feel like they should add more cooperative items. I was thinking something like a "pen". When you use it on someone, you sign a a contract, which makes it so you can't shoot them, and they can't shoot you. However, it dissolves if it's just you both remaining.
That just makes those two players spectators of the other two players that didn't sign a contract then. Ruins the point of a 4-player game.
Thanks, now delete this before my friend group see this.
0:55 also I know your boss, delete this or I rat

How to win: Shoot Based on Probability, Don't Make Huge Mistake and Believe in God (Who is dead)
About Coincidence foxplay and Catplay. There (are 4 such Channels, RushPlay Foxplay catPlay pufPlay. and they were essentially given early access and they Played with each other and posted the Gameplay. )
here's another thing: everyone's health number is the same but random. And the amount of these things (it seems) is random for everyone.
