Kelvin you are the best! I’m in the middle of a 1uzfe swap into a 2nd gen 4Runner and have been living on your channel the past few months and everything I’ve been doing is how you’ve pretty much laid out swaps in your videos before! Thank you for helping this community day in and day out!
We grew up fixing crap that shouldnt have been fixed but we had work to do so had to fix it. Its a drive to town to find parts so we get pretty good at making what we have work. Cheers Kelvin
I actually needed this! My 2004 SC430 hoses arent doing so hot, and my fuel evap hose broke clean in half doing a repair. Where can I get hoses that aren't 80 dollars a piece
I generally find the part numbers then depending on where in the world you live find a suitable supplier. I have my own wholesale suppliers as I am buying lots of them. I have some finding part number videos where I also show how to find some suppliers which will be released soon. Cheers Kelvin
I have 2 or 3 hose coming from the front drivers suspension side and there are not connected ... i dont know where do they connect can you help me here.. and also have 1 pipe coming out of the resonator box from the back side and it cut...
I have helped by making this video, showing where the vacuum hoses go and showing how to find the diagrams for the vacuum systems on all uz (and all toyota) cars.
If it is a 1UZ you should head over to the lexus LS400 owners group, take some pictures and ask there, they'll be able to guide you. Probably even if you have a 3UZ
@@CartuneNZ is there any other one that's the same as my vvti 1uz? I'm in the states, and gs400s are hard to come by, but ls430s are in almost every junkyard.
@travisstamp7428 ok, so maybe the question you were asking may have been if they are interchangeable, which some of them are depending on the filler clearance and pcv valve used, or swapped to the later pcv is fine.
Mine was a "cheap" ram at the auction, he was $2300nzd, average price was $3700 with the top rams going for over $8000. The the worsr part is he is half aussie. Haha. My last ram was $1000 but he was crap so we turned him into sausages.

I'm noticing that most of the amazing mechanics have some sort of farming background

@@CartuneNZ I do the same here, Hawaii hard to find good parts with out trading an arm and leg, my 1uz project been sitting way to long lol
What is the hose called coming out of the top of the intake manifold
Kelvin awesome contents, does it make a difference if you switch the two hoses going to the Vacuum Power Steering Air Control Valve
Great Video thank you 👍
Glad to help. Cheers Kelvin

Are 1, 2, and 3 UZ vvti covers all the same?
No, some have a moulded filler, some a bolt on, there are also different pcv attachment techniques.

Hi
Do you supply LS430 RHD exhaust Manifolds direct replacement to the Cats
U.k
Cheers
We have a few stock RHD exhaust manifolds from the LS430 here which we could sell. Cheers Kelvin
Those sheep are so white!
Yes they are, and my new very expensive ram is even more white to have whiter lambs. Cheers Kelvin
@@CartuneNZ Funny ...so how much is a breeding ram to purchase in NZ? and what age is he?
