When you select your larvae to make units, for overlords, you can make the eggs and then click on the map or minimap and change the egg's rally point. As long as you have the eggs selected and not your hatcheries you change the rally point for just the selected eggs and not all units. but do be a little careful not to make multiple types of units. I usually will select my hatches then grab my larvae, make olords, select to my olord rally spot, then reselect my larvae and make units. the army units will go to the hatchery rally point and the olords will fly to their custom rally point. hopefully that helps so you dont have olords flying in your opponents base. lol

Hey, i've considered about protoss chalenge you may do. What's about mothership rush? The main condition is to make it very quick and try to disorientate your opponent. You can think other conditions or change the first one somehow

What propably happens with your ovies is that you make both units and ovies from the same egg selection. As a result, your ovies end up in the same group as your army, thus sharing its rally point. To fix that, just reselect the hatch everytime you switch between units and ovies.
I would love to see a challenge, where you are restricted by random selection and sending a chat of some kind to the opponent as a mind game before making any type of offensive attack , such as kill them with kindness before dropping a PF on their natural. attempt to lower their APM by communication and see if it hits as hard as I hope it will. hey marq, i don't mean to backseat but when going up against battlecruisers, you should sent a mutalisk to go along with your scourges. If you just send your scourges alone, the BCs one shot them before they can reach, but if you send even a single muta with them then the terran player will poop his pants because the AI will prioritize shooting the muta instead of the scourges.

Hey thermy, thanks for great videos :) I have idea for challenge for you, inspired by your videos against AI, but but I have no idea how "viable" it is (since I am not even playing SC, lol): Defense only. All units allowed, no cheesing, and no attacking first, just defense until opponent GGs or runs out of money and you a-move him with little resistance :D But I guess those games would be pretty long for challenge. But still, you could make just one or two, it would be so much fun watching their confusion :D

In g2 it feels like researching burrow couldn've helped mess him up even more, and save some Roach/Ravager a bit longer, as neither cannons, nor Oracles would be efficient with good spread.

I think early burrow in ZvP is underrated or underused. Is it a long upgrade? 71secs = almost 2 queens build time. Even in ZvP, provoking scanning is minus 250 minerals for terran is good, but I'm a noob. Anyway, the first game was interesting. Keep up the analysis after a game, Thermy.

An idea for Protoss challenge - Variety pack - You are only allowed to have at most 3 of each* non-worker unit at a time. Objective is to have a very varied mix of all the units.
First game, you put yourself behind macrowise by rushing those 4 gaz. Instead you could have have 4 more drones for the cost of those 3 extra gaz, and also 9 more drones on mineral ! If you go for mutas, you should really go ham on gaz wbout the time you start your spire. Here, you rushed mutas, but had nothing else. Still loves your video tho :) Edit : and i love your overlords !
Average sc2 player: shoot, his siege tank killed all of my zerglings T_T 5:11 marc: awesome his siege tank is back there which means it's not killing my hatch :)
Neural parasite an enemy worker to grandmaster, you neural a probe or scv and force them to build you a nexus/command center. Then win the game using their races units as Zerg. Not sure how that would work in ZvZ so theres that, but would be interesting to see how far you can get using that strategy xD

Mine sucks against zerg cause most the time they are smart and just copy my units but make more of them since they didn’t commit a hatch and are closer. Technically you can still win with better micro but easier said than done
in the first game you forgot that mutas kill towers easily. i remember you saying it a lot. when you killed his army and intercepted a few marines reinforcement, i might be super wrong but it felt like he could only have tanks and tower at home. your mutas could have swooped the place. you lost that game because you mind gamed yourself into believing you couldnt do it. at some point you lose faith in yourself and forget all you know. creep is good and yours was amazing. but mutas dont need it. so when you transition just let your oppenent be busy with it when you focus on his worker with the mutas. this way turning the mental burden of spreading the creep for you into unspreading the creep for him. spoiling his midgame. i appologize for daring thinking that i could know, and even more, say to a pro what he should have done. and you probably saw it all if you watch your video and hear your comments. as you are a fantastic player! incredibly creative, insightful and thorough. definitely my favorite player and i would never doubt one second that you could not achieve grand master with any build even the weirdest you want. your way of commenting is unique and really dives the audience into what it is to play at that level. with the thought process, the fun, the tension, the mistakes, the godlike maneuvers and everything. and the fact that you are able to sustain it in such situations is absolutely flabbergasting! your channel brought me back the love for starcraft as when i was waiting for the 27 july 2010. you're the best. i thought you should know. adios (sorry for the caps)
Thermy.. You can set a custom rally point for morphing units when you still have the larvae selected. When you morph Overlords, just morph them alone, set a custom rally point, deselect larva, and then reset your rally point and make actual army units. Stop this Overlord madness

Does anyone know how he spreads creep so fast haha? There was an instance he selected his queens and then the tumors just showed up so quickly.
He has the creep hotkey on rapid fire, so he can just hold "C" and wave his mouse around to spread tumors.
