Maybe I'm lucky with my iPhone 14 Pro Max battery, after 18 months of use, I still got 100% battery health (99% accdg to coconut battery). The trick I always use is I don't drain it below 40% and only charge it to 80%. I setup a shortcut to pop a reminder that I reach 80% charge whenever I'm charging the phone and if it goes down to 40% as well.
Same, I used my 14 Pro max I purchased at launch until I purchased 15 PM at launch and gave it to my wife, the 14 PM was still at 100 % Health, an now one year and 7 months still on 98 % for almost a two years device, my current and daily driver 15 PM is at 98% health, with all the issues the 14 pros battery Health had our 14 Pro max still at 98 close to two years which is weird, the thing is I almost never drained an iphone and don't usually charge it fully or maybe once a while
iPhone 14 Pro Max still at 100% battery after 9 months average use . Still fast still good daily use with 60% left battery. Great work phone using a case 👍
I got lucky with the price of the 14 pro max that I just bought. Unlocked (renewed), 94% battery health, 512 gb for $750. Space Gray, it's a beautiful phone! You're right about the display screen being sensitive. I noticed that so I bought a privacy screen protector. That wasn't a problem with my iPhone X, didn't need a screen protector for that one. This phone doesn't have 3D touch either so I thought that the screen wasn't original for a sec but learned that 3D touch phased out after iPhone X which is actually better the way it is now without it anyways. Pretty big step up from the iPhone X. Might keep it till 2026's iPhone and hand this one down to a relative because I might be more into the new camera tech by then.
Battery drops so fast on 14 pro when u use wireless charger. It produces heat on the battery module and charges at the same time, and this equals battery life drop. I personally use normal lightning cable and my battery life dropped 3%(97%).
Hi, Present I am using iPhone 13, I am thinking upgrade to 15 pro max . But it’s right time to upgrade or need to wait until 16 series, pls give me suggestion.
At this point it's usually worth the wait. The 16 should be announced in September and available soon after. If your phone still works great, I'd recommend holding out til this fall.
I had my 14 pro stolen on a night out earlier this year. Luckily I was insured but I replaced it with the 15 pro, I’m honestly quite happy with the upgrade despite not planning to if it wasn’t nicked and I thought it wouldn’t be a difference at all however the usbc and 24mp camera plus the lighter titanium build I am finding very nice.
could you not just track the stolen phone so you could find it and get it back? nowadays it's possible to locate it even if the iphone battery is dead.
I've been using my 15pro since December 2023, I'm at 166 cycles and 100% capacity. Is that bad compared to the 14pro/13pro? Because my last iPhone was the XS Max, so idk what the trend is with the new phones.
@@meetvanodiya7031 So my friend & myself, got the 15pro on the same day in December. He games on his phone a lot, so his battery health has gone down quite abit more compared to mine(mine being still at 100%) Maybe gaming has an effect?
I loved my 14 pro but the battery was one of the bad ones. I went from 100% to 87% in one year. I can upgrade yearly so I got the 15 pro max and I’m still at 100% and I got my max on launch. But I do prefer the 14 pro size more. So when I jump to the 16, I may go with the 16 pro because even that one is going to get a bigger screen this time around.
I have had a 14 Pro for a little over a year and a half. I use the screen about 3 hours a day according to screen time and the battery page. I probably watch about 5 - 10 minutes of video every few days (mostly video game wiki tutorials, always via Safari). But I use the Messages app constantly (all day every day), and other features like Siri, Maps, Reminders, Camera, etc. relatively frequently. All that said, I listen to podcasts or music on it with AirPods Pro connected roughly 8 - 10 hours a day since I work from home. I also use an Apple Watch which tends to reduce the amount I need to turn the phone on, since I use that for responding to texts, navigating via Maps in the car, exercise tracking, alarms and timers, and stuff like that. I don't ever use a case. Battery health is at 93% after about 18 - 20 months. Battery lasts me plenty though. On average I end the day with about 45% battery remaining, and I charge it every night on a MagSafe charging pad. I have noticed a handful of small, light scratches appear on the screen (biggest one is about 2 mm in length, and there appear to be about 3 or 4 of these, plus a handful of much lighter ones on the right edge of the display), though I never have the iPhone in the same pocket as anything else. It lives in my right pocket, and nothing else ever goes in that pocket. Yesterday I noticed for the first time a couple very small scuffs on the stainless steel rim (two, each less than 1 mm in length, on the left side) - I tried to wipe them away and realized they were not smudges. However, there are only 2, and they only just appeared recently (and they're right next to each other). I'm extremely careful with pulling my phone out of my pocket, how I use it, which surfaces I set it on, etc. Perfectly serviceable for me. I'm not disappointed in the least, with any of its performance. It's a great phone. Does everything I need and more, and it remains gorgeous and very clean, with the exception of those couple minor scratches which I barely ever notice anyway. In my experience trading in iPhones (which I've done only twice before, once from the iPhone X to the 12 mini, and once from that to the 14 Pro), as well as trading in MacBooks and other such devices, the level of wear my phone is experiencing is considered pretty normal, and it still qualifies for being considered "In good condition", for the sake of the full trade in value. I've had luck with this both through Apple's website ordering and through bringing my devices in to the Apple Store. I just wanted to share my own experience with the 14 Pro since I've had it for a while. I'm planning to keep it until the 16 Pro comes out. Hopefully they do the Natural Titanium again on the 16 Pro, because it's so sexy.
If you bought the 14 Pro before the last WWDC, where it was announced that Apple Intelligence will only be available on 15 Pro models or newer, I feel so bad for you lmfao
@ I had an iphone 11 before and used it about 1 year with 86% bh, tried maintaining 20-90% but often reached 100% too. Now got 14 pro max with 88% and it dropped to 87% 3 days ago, seems like I gotta maintain 20-80/90 and 100 sometimes. Thank you
I upgraded from iPhone 14 pro max deep purple to 15 pro max blue . I regret it I loved the deep purple and my battery lasted all day . My 15 pro max has to be charged multiple times a day and it gets super hot .
Have an iphone 14 pro for almost year and a half, compared it to other phones and come to conclusion that I dont want any other phone at least for 2-2.5 years from now. Camera - its good unless you dont watch a video shot by iphone on large qhd monitor))) Speaker quality - perfect(for phone I mean), screen is also very good, for 1.5 years of using never had a situation where brightness was not enough, performance - just a beast, and last but not least BATTERY, even 80 percent of battery charge is enough for whole day with 30-35 left at the end of day, just perfect, battery health is 98%(dunno if Im lucky, or I just use it carefully... I've never used my iphone for any kind of stuff while its on charge, never let it to overheat, and the most importatnt thing, its charge NEVER dropped below 15 percent). So I'll definetely buy a new iphone after 2-3 years, but not because of my current phone will be not enough, but just to give a new expensive gift for myself and to get "new phone experience" which iphone 15 pro definetly cant give
