Yes! So excited for you! It’s fantastic to see all the places The Original Ginger aka O.G. took you on your travels! Can’t wait to see the adventures your Grand Ginger aka G.G. takes you! 😎👍🏻
Congrats on your new “Baby”, Ginger. When my wife sees that I am watching your video with my Bluetooth earphones, she says she wants to watch the “happy family”. We love to watch your life! We are wintering in Port Aransas, Texas. If Texas wasn’t soooo big, we would drive to Dallas for the meet up. Enjoy the trip to Alaska. A must Stop in the Yukon is Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Campground. There is a family run stop across the road with Gas, Motel, Cafe, Campground and groceries. Gotta stop for the Hot Springs. Unlike home, there are no rules, because they expect you to behave yourselves.
Marc, I came across an AWESOME TH-cam channel last week. They RVed to Alaska last summer for about 3 months. They have tons of videos on everything. Their name is "Pau Hana Travels" Highly recommend them.
I really love that you went into the whole weight issue and really showed us the numbers. I've known so many folk that ignore all that, and even some of my family thinks I'm crazy for being a weight freak. Thanks for that.
Just to know that somebody cares what you're doing with your life and have it be a surprise for someone, anyone...that's pretty special. Don't take it for granted. You're very blessed. Nobody would care if I did something like this.
First of all congratulations!!! Second .. get outta my Head lol. Seriously hubs and I currently have a 28 ft komfort which has been a great entry TT. Last year at the RV show we fell in love with the reflection same exact floor plan. Just today we couldn't wait to sit in our Reflection at the MD RV show while we day dream about our soon retirement. But the salesman took is into the grand design toy hauler and we were crazy in love with it. Then we discovered the solitude fifth wheel and Bam! We even have the hitch in our bed already. Then hubs did the weight numbers.. whomp whomp no go. All this today. Then I get the notification on my phone a new video from my favorite gingers and it's our original Reflection and thanks to Marc all the numbers are done for us because we have the same truck lol. I just love you guys
That's fantastic !! Nice for the kids, they will definitely remember these years and all your adventures! I have been watching your channel for ever and now my husband watches with me. We just love the rv life and all the great people. Enjoy that New Rig 🚴 !!
I know you’re very excited and I’m excited for you but... I’m sitting here crying. Seeing scenes of Maddy made me laugh and cry. Thinking of all the experiences you shared with Ginger made me very nostalgic! I know. I’m crazy. Congrats on your new rig!
We looked at those GD’s last weekend at the Seattle RV show. Grand Design definitely offers some of the best quality materials. They feel more like a HOME than a RV. Congratulations on your new set-up. We are just a few steps away from being out of our house and on the road.
OMGosh the lady we bought our RV from left so much in it... I donated it all ... she came back looking for a "special" blanket her son had brought her from overseas...oh I felt so bad. Check your cupboards. Love the new rig. We've been thru a few :) Kelly
Omg. We are so happy for you guys. As you recall we will be full timers soon. Although our cougar 28RLS would of been “ok” we decided to move up to a Outback 334Rl. We put the deposit on it 2/15. We chose another TT for the same reason you did. The tow weight of a 5th wheel. Thanks for that weight calculation chart. It really paid off!!
Change of plans since that post...we opted to keep the Cougar 28RLS. One of the main reasons was where we can take the Cougar. (More places than the Outback). Happy campers! BTW we went full time March 24th.
Just shared with my brother and his wife who bought a grand design as their first RV. I’ve been following you guys for a year and binged watched all your seasons. When they bought theirs I shared you with them. Great info on RV basics!!! Can’t wait to see where they go!! ❤️💕
Happy for you guys. Looks awesome. Getting delivery of our tow rig in two more weeks...and with your videos it's helping us decide on our trailer coming in late fall....then can't wait to get out there. Thanks again for the great info and awesome locations.
WOOHOO - HOW WONDERFUL - CONGRATS!! Getting a beautiful bigger rig could not have happened to a more loving wonderful couple and family; who are a GRAND FAV of mine!! I don't know why but at parts of the vid I cried like a baby... go figure. Tears of sadness & joy!! For y'all and Grand Ginger; I said a prayer for safe travels, awesome experiences & blessings beyond your grandest dreams!! ❤️ 🤗 ❤️
Welcome to the Grand Design Reflection family. So honored you joined us! Where can we send a house warming gift? A lightweight pack of Command Strips!!
We too purchased a Grand Design last May 2017. Love it! Reflection 303 rls 5th wheel. Quality of the new rig over the last two rigs we owned (Jayco) is no contest. The Grand Design has features we never knew we needed or missed. Enjoy your new "Grand Ginger" and be safe.
Also first time commenting but my wife and I this week have bought a 2015 GMC Sierra with a 2018 North Trail 30' Ultra-lite travel trailer. The main reason for writing is that a decision has to be made on our present apartment, whether to hang onto it or move on to full time RVing. Both my wife and I have been over the road in a big truck many years back and in a lot smaller quarters and we are still together. WE are here in St. Louis Mo and the grand plan is to get out more and enjoy what life has in store for us. Watching your U Tube videos have us very excited and yet scared to put what we have in the apartment into storage and load up our North Trail and move out. We want to be where you are as far as confidence but are worried, Please wish us luck that the right decision will be made. Congrats on the new rig also! Thank you for all the help Santa Michael
You won't need luck. Just take your time and everything will be fine. Most problems occur when in a hurry :) We've had our fair share of mishaps, but it always works out. You won't regret making it happen!
We just ordered a North Trail too (31bhdd)! I'm sure you'll love being on the road with all that space. We're taking delivery beginning of March and then doing a trip to Huntsville state park with friends to break it in.
You guys are very enjoyable to watch. Sort of reminds me of when we moved from Massachusetts to Boise Idaho in a 1978 Class C 20' RV with 4 little ones. Ages ranged from 1 to 7 years old. The 3 oldest slept over over the cab, the 1 yo slept in a mini crib by the door. It was our 1st RV and what an adventure traveling cross-country via Niagara Falls and then dropping down through Chicago, backtracking to Ohio, and then wandering our way out to Boise, ID. The oldest two kids remember most of it but wow...so much fun. So glad you are doing this and I hope the pressure of doing a video each week isn't too much. I know you know this, but be careful....it goes WAY TOO FAST! God bless.
Lol, we delayed our departure by a week.... twice (!)... so we'll finally be getting in the road by the end of March. So tired, but watching your latest videos is a great way to re-energize! Thanks for the inspiration!!!
I love watching, have been doing so since episode 2 but I rarely comment. Just wanted to say congrats and you motivate this 27 year old to live on the road and work my way up, just as you have! Y'all are motivational and I love your kids and wife! Keep on truckin'~
Very nice rig, we have enjoyed watch your kids grow and you have convinced us to do the same we are hitting the road in October. Thanks for sharing your journey hope to see you on the road
Reflection by Grand Design is a will made travel trailer. We have a 2017 that we bought a year ago and can’t come up with too many things that it is missing. Our F-150 Ecoboost tows it well through Colorado, Utah, Montana. Last month we headed to Texas. Now in San Benito. Heading north towards San Antonio in a couple weeks then spend some time up by Dallas towards end of March. I added a few storage options to ours with 4’ full extension rail slide trays and and another in the tray to slide out a portable gas grill. Very handy. Also added shelf across middle of above bed storage in our bedroom, and also some elastic hat hangers underneath, since the shelves are quite high up. Love watching your travels. Wish you the best with your new “Grand Ginger”!
Congrats on your new home! It is beautiful. Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but you might want to try the CAT scale app. It is incredibly painless to weigh!
Congrats on Grand Ginger - You all have worked so hard and deserve it! Thanks for entertaining and inspiring us to pack light and go many places. Your four seasons have helped us to sell the house, buy a new rig, and get out on the road. That's happening in 2 weeks. Glad you let go of the heavy avocado mortar & pestle. Would really like to see Tricia do another hysterical inside RV tour (kitchen, pantry, lights, efficiency, etc.) Hope to join a meetup someday this year.
Thanks so much for sharing. We are picking our 2018 Grand Design Reflection 312 BHTS up Tuesday. So excited. It will stay at our hunting property thru deer season and then we will be on the Road! Can't wait to see the tour!
BTW, thanks for the rail shot... That's MY bag... Love the power on the rails, as evidenced by my channel... Love the new rig... And yes, dry as toast to listen to weight stuff, but will keep it marked because it so darn important...
I've only been following y'all for about a week or so, but since then I've watched every one of your episodes...It's one of the best things I've ever seen on TH-cam. I would love to do what you're doing, one day I might, but until then it really does feel like I'm traveling with you..It's also great that you are able to spend this kind of quality time with your children..When they are grown with families of their own they will always have these memories.. They will be so thankful looking back to have had this opportunity..Anyways, congrats on the new ginger, love the show and you guys..
Holy smokes congratulations I did not expect that LOL I thought for sure you guys were going to get that fifth wheel but not for another 6 months or so LOL. And when you show the videos of your dog again with ginger I'm a grown 46 year old man and I had tears in my eyes that was a great dog from what I could see. And I would just like to say as I always say to you guys you are such an awesome family the adventures and the entertainment that you provide is just wonderful LOL thank you for everything you do we're excited to see how you guys like the new rig and when you show us around LOL that is a beautiful rig see you next time
We are so very happy for all of you. Grand Ginger looks so perfect for you and whom ever purchases Ginger 1.0 will get a well cared for rig also. We’ll keep watching all your adventures on your way to that Silverado dually and Open Range 5th Wheel. By the way they say Silverados are for OLD people so you have pleeeenty of time. Enjoy Ginger 2.0 and we all will enjoy sharing your travels 🤗 from lovely Western New York (not so much) ☃️❄️
Congratulations! Did you have a sway control installed? That Reece hitch is pretty "old school," from what it looks like, and most likely doesn't have sway control built in. You don't want that much body on Grand Ginger swaying around on you, especially in the wind!
Hey Marc, Tricia and Family, Congratulations on the new rig. My wife wants one now. Thanks. Anyway we enjoy the channel. The hitch setup that was installed on your rig is possibly the best weight distribution system to use besides a Hensley. Andy Thompson at Can Am in Canada has advice for towing and uses the same type hitch that appears installed on your new rig. See links below for his tow information. Proper adjustment of the hitch should include measuring weights on each wheel and heights of the wheel wells on the truck. I think measuring heights of wheel wells can get your weights close to optimal without measuring weight on each wheel. You also need two sway bars. When I got my actual length 34 ft TT they installed only one bar. That was not enough. I subsequently on the first trip and again just last year have readjusted that hitch to reduce sway and properly load the tow vehicle. I have used the friction style hitch for 23 years. I do not take it off when backing. Never had a problem backing that way. I think you avoid backing at a severe angle and the friction system works ok. I probably never back at more than a 45 degree angle. The most severe angle on most trips is into my driveway. I am not convinced that the equalizer style hitch is better than the older type of sway bar and chain bar style hitches. Limited adjustment can be made on the equalizer hitch. The Hensley hitch would likely reduce sway better than either of the more typical systems. I would check the weight of that system versus the system that is already installed on your rig. According to Hensley the Hensley hitch is about 70 lbs over the weight of a conventional hitch system. See link below. Have you considered the weight of the full LP Bottles? Also that big refrigerator filled up and a new washer dryer addition will add to your payload. www.canamrv.ca/blog/category/hitch-hints/ www.hensleymfg.com/faq/hensley-arrow/ Hope that helps and is some use. Would like to do the meetup but Dallas is too far away this week.
It is so great to see you guys get a new Grand Design Reflection. We are getting a Reflection 150 Series 295RL a week from today. We are stoked! I know we're going to enjoy it and I'm happy to see so many folks like you who have chosen Grand Design. The quality is unsurpassed for the cost.
Haa! Great vid! A few Grey's, a lotta of perspective, a wistfully excited transition and a (literally) almost-ton of new adventures! Congrats and Thanks for sharing and inspiring!
Just checked ALL the specs on your new home...nice! All that insulation will make a huge difference. One thing you may want to consider is shocks....if it doesn't have them, get them. I put hem on our trailer and it made a big difference in the handling/ride, etc. Looking forward to many new adventures with your family.
Love the video. Tire's, remember the first outing with Ginger and the tire problem. RV manufacturing companies put the cheapest tire's on the RV they can. Make sure you have good tire's on Ginger 2.0 if they are champion tire's they are the worse , change them! When or if you do two spares just like before. Can you get the school books on a IPad or tablet? If so that would reduce weight and space used by the books. My niece is home schooled and all her books are on a iPad. Great looking rig! Safe travels! And, ( keep the rubber on the road ) !!!!!!!!!
I'm going to replace these tires before AK, but they are E rated 80 PIS and 75mph speed rated. So they are MUCH better and no problems in the last 1k miles (far longer than Ginger 1.0 tires lasted). But I don't trust them to AK and back. A second spare is on the list too, but don't know where to store it. Maybe a hitch add-on for AK only. Kids moving to digital content is a good idea.
Keep Your Daydream I have gotten some of my friends hooked on your videos now. Waiting to see what's next for your family. I must say you guys are addicting. Were ever we are and no matter what we are doing when a new video is posted Beverly will tell me find some place to pull over Day dream is on!! Bless your family.
So true! They are low ply! We got a flat on our first outing with our new trailer as well. We immediately bought 14 ply commercial grade. They are rock solid and so worth it! We DON'T want that problem again! Ha!
Excellent video, thanks. Over weight is alway a problem. The RV manufactures only empty air in the rigs. Over our thirty years of RVing we have learned to keep the tire pressure at the higher end of the tire limits and it can be more difficult going down a hill than up in an over weight rig. Be safe and we really enjoy your videos.
Congratulations on the new rig, we know that you guys are going to have many great new adventures -- although after watching all of the fun you had in Ginger 1.0 I have to admit that we were a bit sad to see her go. We also just picked up a new rig, also a Grand Design, but in our case it's a Reflection 295RL fifth wheel. Like you our choice of RV was in part dictated by the tow ratings of our truck. Thanks for the tow rating calculation spreadsheet, it made it easy for us to confirm the suitability of our truck for our new fifth wheel. Have a great time in Grand Ginger, and hope to see you on the Grand Design owners' forum sometime.
I started getting misty-eyed when you and Trish started reminiscing about Ginger 1.0 but I'm totally in love with Ginger 2.0 so it didn't last long! #KYD
So excited for you guys. So happy you got the Grand Ginger! Now I know why you told us to get the 350 for the Truck thanks for helping us on that. Happy Adventures.
Congratulations! We went from a 29 foot Keystone Cougar to a 36 foot Cougar last spring. Our layout is very close to yours but no bunkhouse. We are empty nesters with one granddaughter that loves the trifold couch. Enjoy. Looking forward to the tour!
Congratulations! What a nice surprise to learn you've made the leap! Our prayer & plan is to FT in a GD Momentum 328M. Very reassured in the customer testimonials of GD history of quality construction, product, and customer service. Excited to learn more through your sharing of your personal experiences. We wish you continued blessings, safe travels, and great memories in Grand Ginger, she is beautiful! ENJOY!
Dallas! you are in my neck o the woods!! if you need an urban campsite for a night or two I have enough room for the big new trailer! quite family frendly cul-de-sac in McKinney. Congrats on the new rig! we just made the move into a 30ft class c from a 34ft travel trailer. we do not have kids and are not full time and the move still took four hours! so yall did good!
We have an E2 sway control distribution hitch. You do NOT have to disconnect the chains to backup! If you come by Central Point, you can buy them for a good price (we have a 5th wheel now). And you hey are real easy to hitch up!
Hi D! 🤗 - Glad I read your comment before writing one - AS - I too thought of the nickname GG!! OF COURSE I thought I would be the ONLY one to think of and suggest it. How ridiculously stupid funny is that - don't answer?!!!! ROTFLMBO - LOL!!
Congrats to my favorite RVing couple😀! Bought that adjustable laptop desk on your recommendation, love it! Tricked it out though to better the user experience. Wish you the best with Ginger 2.0.
That is so awesome that ya'll got this rig for home on the road, I have my eye on this rig for a while now and I love it when we were looking inside, I fall in love with it, so we are in the process of getting one. Anyway congratulations ya'll enjoy the new Ginger.
We can relate to the sadness and joy you're going through. We've said goodbye to 8 rigs (not counting the truck-tent) in the last 11.5 years ..... only 2 of them sadly. Heading out at the end of this week to check out our ninth camper. We didn't start the process until after we retired so I'm sure you guys will beat our record :-) We've traveled two countries covering about 90,000 miles and camped and explored every state but ND and AK. Hopefully be placing an order for a custom build next week as well as getting a new 4K video camera. It's so fun getting a new rig. I hope you keep us tuned in to any build issues you discover along the way. Have fun and safe travels :-)
Nice. Congrats. We like the idea of switching rigs often. Learn more. Share more. In regards to the camera, I decided to go with a Canon 60D for my next camera. Editing in 4k takes so much processing and time (not to mention uploading), I decided that better color and auto-focus was better than resolution.
I actually went back to a camcorder ... in camera editing and cinematic features allow fast and slow motion footage (240 fps) with the touch of a button on the preview screen while shooting a shot. Auto tracking and panning all with the touch of the screen. Fits in the palm of my hand and weighs less than a pound. Fun times ahead for the both of us :-)
Congratulations to all, excited to see the tour. I see someone else already reminded you of the tires, what about the suspension? Remember the plastic bushings, missing bolts, danger danger? I know you're on it Marc. You guys are the best!! Thanks again! Jim.
Grand Designs make some beautiful rigs. They seem to be everyone's favorite lately. I wish you the best of luck with her. Happy travels and stay safe, Lou.
YOUR KIDS ARE GREAT~ It was nice to see them included in the video. We are startin gour adventure soon and have been researching and researching. we have three kiddos
Very nice! Grand Ginger looks like a great vehicle to more dream chasing. I am pretty glad you did not choose 5th wheel unit. You appear glad too. The best to you and we are watching with anticipation for future videos! Bob and Lanelle
You know? I was feeling like you were growing and leaving us travel trailers behind as second class citizens. Since you bought another travel trailer, I subconsciously felt a warm feeling of continiuing acceptance by you for we trailerites. I will be heading out in a couple of months, and will not be 12 months out of the year, but want to be many months out of the year, I have only had a camper out for a total of 2 days 10 years ago and 5 days 9 years ago. I haven't been out in a camper since then. In the meantime, I started and administrated a home care company for seniors 8 years, sold it a year ago, and have been trying to get to this point for a solid year. It will still take me 2 months, maybe 3, to wrap up other business matters, and THEN, I Hope, Plan, and Determined to go solo rving and BIG HOPE I run into yall. I found you here around August 2017 and had a marathon of your videos one week. I had such a great tme watching your first 2 years. There was so much good stuff, I am now planning to watch everything all over again before I leave home in middle Tennessee this summer. Though I have signed up with some other RV groups, YOU are my leaders. Do you have a group who travels behind you at times, or is that a no no? I could see having travel buddys being inhibiting to you. What you are doing is the BEST I have found online in showing subscribers the country, sharing your travel adventures, problems, food, shopping, and even decisions about purchases. You are my guides, and frankly, with me soloing, I can't imagine having the nerve to load up and pull out without all that I have learned from you. Oh, BYW, I'm 69 years old, weigh 102 lbs right now, will be pulling Bertha, my sweet little 19 ft Cruiser Fun Finder and traveling with my two furbuddies, Angel, a 4 lb, 1 year old maltese and Bella, an 8 lb, 3 year old maltipoo. We all share a queen size bed, and I don't want to imagine life without them. So, The Tennessee One and 2 Tenths look forward to following you and Grand Ginger, vicariously for the next few months, then will be heading to South Dakota first. I am especially fond of Crazy Horse Memorial and that amazing story of dedication. I haven't been there for several years, so that's what I want to see first. Actually, I wanted to go to Wash DC for the Cherry Blossom Festival this year, but have missed most of that and can't get there in time this year. I will planning ahead for that in 2019. Also, Daddy was at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked, on board the USS Tennessee battleship as a corpsman (Chief Pharmacist Mate, officially) I haven't seen the WWII memorial, yet. So that is super important. I MAY go to Wash DC this fall, because I don't want something to happen and I never get to see it. At my age, and after heart surgery a massive stroke, Hodgkin's Disease, and kidney failure, due to radiation treatments, I don't take tomorrows for granted. I am living a super blessed life and feel good most of the time. I keep on keeping on and count on living to be 86, at least, the age my mother lived to see. A lot of rving can happen between 69 and 86. Surely I will run into you SOMEWHERE along the way. Keep it between the lines.
Nah, we love TT's. But we'll move to a 5th soon just so we can learn and create that content too. I'm sure over time, we'll try out all the different ways to RV. Enjoy your trip!
So happy for you guys I bet the kids are really excited to not have to sleep on the couch anymore. We have a bunk house and my 3 boys love it. Safe travels!! 😎
"Tori hugged me!" lol That kid cracks me up! Sappy music=perfect send off for Ginger.
The Guac dish is called Molcajete and the smaller stone that you use with it is called Tojolote (Mortar and Pestle).
It's a great instrument to make all kind of salsas !
Yes! So excited for you! It’s fantastic to see all the places The Original Ginger aka O.G. took you on your travels! Can’t wait to see the adventures your Grand Ginger aka G.G. takes you! 😎👍🏻

Oops, my bad. Liard is in BC....nonetheless, on the way to Alaska!
Marc, I came across an AWESOME TH-cam channel last week. They RVed to Alaska last summer for about 3 months. They have tons of videos on everything. Their name is "Pau Hana Travels"

Awww! Grand Junction!! I lived there breifly in 1987!! My mother-in-law grew up there and still lives there!!
Well, I shocked! Didn't know y'all were getting new one. I like Grand Design. So does old Big Truck Big RV. That boy knows his trucks and RVs.
I really love that you went into the whole weight issue and really showed us the numbers. I've known so many folk that ignore all that, and even some of my family thinks I'm crazy for being a weight freak. Thanks for that.
Congratulations guys!! We just traded our 24ft TT for a beautiful 37ft TT! We're picking it up this week, I'm so excited!!
Can't wait to see yours!!

I’m craving this lifestyle so much can’t wait for the full tour
Your son is hysterical!! A natural comedian!! Great family!!

Karl Krueger the best of luck and perhaps we will run into you in our travels!
God bless.
Congrats!!!
(25 days & counting until we launch our full-timing life...)
Close!
And still SO MUCH stuff to re-home. Fortunately Chicago has a wide variety of nonprofits who can benefit from our downsizing.
Chase Your Wanderlust we are installing solar now and down sizing we are excited
I'll check it out. Thx.
Congratulations!!! Can't wait for more adventures!!!
I liked "Mary Ann " seeing maddie made my heart smile. Congrats on the new rig!!!
Congratulations! Your videos just make me happy 😊☀️
Thanks so much for sharing. We are picking our 2018 Grand Design Reflection 312 BHTS up Tuesday. So excited. It will stay at our hunting property thru deer season and then we will be on the Road! Can't wait to see the tour!
Can’t wait for more Grand Ginger
BTW, thanks for the rail shot... That's MY bag... Love the power on the rails, as evidenced by my channel... Love the new rig... And yes, dry as toast to listen to weight stuff, but will keep it marked because it so darn important...
So cool to see Grand Ginger! Can't wait for the full tour you guys!
And I would just like to say as I always say to you guys you are such an awesome family the adventures and the entertainment that you provide is just wonderful LOL thank you for everything you do we're excited to see how you guys like the new rig and when you show us around LOL that is a beautiful rig see you next time
As always you're too kind Jerry. Thanks.
Enjoy Ginger 2.0 and we all will enjoy sharing your travels 🤗 from lovely Western New York (not so much) ☃️❄️
Love your New Rig... Doug from Vegas
That is AWESOME!!! So Stoked for the Five of you!!! Keep the Good Times Rolling and remember to LIVE-LIFE-LOUD!!🤙🏽
Congratulations! Did you have a sway control installed? That Reece hitch is pretty "old school," from what it looks like, and most likely doesn't have sway control built in. You don't want that much body on Grand Ginger swaying around on you, especially in the wind!
Maddie 🐶🐾💞. So many memories in Ginger and many more to come in Grand Ginger. Congrats
I knew it was only a matter of time 👍🏻
Hey Marc, Tricia and Family,
Congratulations on the new rig.

Hope that helps and is some use. Would like to do the meetup but Dallas is too far away this week.
"Looking to expand my office", He's a riot..... lol
Congratulations! "G-G" (Grand Ginger) is a beauty!! Can't wait for you to take us on the tour. Onward bound! ... ♡
Grand Ginger....hmmm....GG for short. I like it! Jim
I like it.
If you like this, watch next Sunday's episode :)
Love it! Congrats on the new rig, looks like it'll be a good fit for you all.We enjoy coming along on your adventures! - Shane
Congratulations. Grand Ginger is beautiful. I’m sure you will enjoy her and the new space you have.
Wow! Congratulations you guys! Awesome!!
Haa! Great vid! A few Grey's, a lotta of perspective, a wistfully excited transition and a (literally) almost-ton of new adventures! Congrats and Thanks for sharing and inspiring!
The Mexican mortar (grinding stone) is a molcajete. It should have come with a pestal out of the same material.
Keep Your Daydream
I have gotten some of my friends hooked on your videos now.
Congrats!! I see a new command strips video coming up 😅🍷
Congratulations on the new rig, we know that you guys are going to have many great new adventures -- although after watching all of the fun you had in Ginger 1.0 I have to admit that we were a bit sad to see her go.
#KYD
Such awesome news! We just purchased a Grand Design as well. Great quality and know you will enjoy your new rig!
Congrats!!
So excited for you guys. So happy you got the Grand Ginger! Now I know why you told us to get the 350 for the Truck thanks for helping us on that. Happy Adventures.
Congratulations! I am not surprised though! Happy travels!!
Congratulations! We went from a 29 foot Keystone Cougar to a 36 foot Cougar last spring. Our layout is very close to yours but no bunkhouse. We are empty nesters with one granddaughter that loves the trifold couch. Enjoy. Looking forward to the tour!
Wow that’s a nice rv, good job, how about leveled up ginger?
Congratulations! Welcome to the Grand Design family. I bought a 2014 293res four years ago and traveling full time.
All good!
ENJOY!
Thanks for another fun and informative episode. Hope the new rig works out for you. Maybe the next one will be the fifth wheeler. Safe travels
Happy to see the name stay as we all are used to. Grand Ginger! WOOP! WOOP! for "G G" Stay safe my friends Bill E.
Dallas! you are in my neck o the woods!! if you need an urban campsite for a night or two I have enough room for the big new trailer! quite family frendly cul-de-sac in McKinney.
Congrats on the new rig! we just made the move into a 30ft class c from a 34ft travel trailer. we do not have kids and are not full time and the move still took four hours! so yall did good!
Congrats!!! We're only "weekend warriors" but, we LOVE our 2018 GD Image 2800BH!
Congrats on the New Rig! Thanks for sharing the process!
keithkevinken i
We have an E2 sway control distribution hitch. You do NOT have to disconnect the chains to backup! If you come by Central Point, you can buy them for a good price (we have a 5th wheel now). And you hey are real easy to hitch up!
How about "GG" for short? sounds better than it looks spelled out :) or GiGi?
I thought of the same name as D** of GG, for Grand Ginger. Welcome to Colorful Colorado by the way.
Hi D! 🤗 - Glad I read your comment before writing one - AS - I too thought of the nickname GG!! OF COURSE I thought I would be the ONLY one to think of and suggest it. How ridiculously stupid funny is that - don't answer?!!!! ROTFLMBO - LOL!!
Same thought!
I was thinking the same thing
D ** i
Congratulations on your Rig may she bring you as many wonderful memories as the first Ginger
Congrats to my favorite RVing couple😀! Bought that adjustable laptop desk on your recommendation, love it! Tricked it out though to better the user experience. Wish you the best with Ginger 2.0.
Nice. Thanks. No joke, my computer edits videos faster with that laptop desk. Keeps it from overheating.
Can you share the info on the laptop desk? What do you do for scanner / printer. We will still have to work while rving. Thanks:)
Fun times ahead for the both of us :-)
Travels with Yoly i
Congratulations to all, excited to see the tour.
I see someone else already reminded you of the tires, what about the suspension? Remember the plastic bushings, missing bolts, danger danger? I know you're on it Marc.
You guys are the best!! Thanks again! Jim.
New suspension for sure. Even looking into independent suspension for AK.
tires? sailun 14 ply steel belted! great tire! you'll see other rv TH-cam videos about them
At the end I noticed Trish has to hold the tangerines now because you made her get rid of the heavy bowl because of weight. Lol
Lol
LOL
Get a plastic bowl eh!
I have no doubt that you guys will be the #1 RV channel on TH-cam, in the not so distant future! Safe travels!
So very sweet! Did you get the one that keeps itself clean, and picks up all the children's clothes for you? : )
That option was out of our price range. Next time.
Grand Designs make some beautiful rigs. They seem to be everyone's favorite lately. I wish you the best of luck with her. Happy travels and stay safe, Lou.
Maggie!🐶
That was a great video saying bye to ginger.
“I’m not crying! You’re crying!”
Her name is "Lovey." ;)
Also: HOW does one live without a molcha jete???
Can we have another drinking game "Command" tour??
Lol.
YOUR KIDS ARE GREAT~
It was nice to see them included in the video. We are startin gour adventure soon and have been researching and researching. we have three kiddos
I thought you weren't getting a new rig this season? I think you should call Grand Ginger "GG" for short.
We like GG. Cold weather camping helped us move thing along :)
Very nice! Grand Ginger looks like a great vehicle to more dream chasing. I am pretty glad you did not choose 5th wheel unit. You appear glad too. The best to you and we are watching with anticipation for future videos! Bob and Lanelle
So your third rig will be the GD 351M?:)
Who knows! By then, there might be even more options.
Congrats on the new rig...beautiful!
Congrats on the new rig. Was so nice to see Maddie again. Safe travels and thanks for sharing your family wonderful adventures.
100 pounds eh? just get rid of the guac dish and you'll be fine!
Congratulations on 2.0 !!!!!
I agree with Jim. Chuck the dish. Great Job.
And thin out the books 😉
Omg I was staring at that 😂😂😂
Great Rig set up.
Coming from a guy with the same setup up :) Right down to the color!
Great minds think alike.. LOL We are headed out to Yosemite Thursday, cant wait....
So happy for you guys I bet the kids are really excited to not have to sleep on the couch anymore. We have a bunk house and my 3 boys love it. Safe travels!! 😎
