I love this show too, not because it's baking but because you get to care about them doing well, you worry for their disasters, it can be very funny and all the bakers are adorable.
I like this cooking show. The commentators aren't too harsh(Shouting like Gordon Ramsay and yelling "ITS RAW"!) but they are straight forward in telling what went wrong.
What's the difference in probable death rates by eating raw cake versus eating raw shellfish, anyone willing to take a guess? The obnoxiousness might be there for a reason...

A couple of years ago you could watch most of the full first three seasons of TGBBO on TH-cam, but obviously they've been taken down. Too bad.

I know the rhyme of blackbirds baked in a pie and the outside of the cake looks amazing. But the inside design makes no sense whatsoever. There's just a black bit and a weird pink bit? If the black bit is meant to be wings, what the hell is the pink bit? Very poorly executed.

The blackbird pie cake was just the BEST! Very clever!
The limit was so low in the old seasons of bake off, now the bakers have to do much more challenging bakes.

It’s kind of sentimental like a childhood memory for most people so the outside and inside together make it look really good.
