Brandi Carlile is BY FAR my favorite vocalist, and she has been since right before the time this video was recorded. What has been really cool as a long time fan is starting to see Brandi and her incredible band mates/front men/brothers The Hanseroth Twins get the kudos they so deserve. Her voice sounds even better these days and I highly recommend checking out their whole discography. Also- Katie Pruitt is 🔥 too highly recommend checking her out!

She is a very talented singer/songwriter. This live does sound very similar to the studio version. She is great live. I saw her live several years ago when this particular album came out. You definitely should check out more from Brandi. She has some really cool live videos singing a song or two with her wife. They sound Great together.

The "in the round" concert thing is weird. Gets tried from time to time but almost every show is set to be presented to out front so it never works very well except to sell more seats. I do know it is strange to be on stage surrounded by audience, so odd you can't think about it and have to just do it like regular. The video recording would likely help in that situation cuz you have spots to be and a clear direction to face and that is enough to not be concerned about much else. (shrug)
