Loving my Ninja now! It cooks my dinner nearly every night! I cook fresh food, not frozen, and last night enjoyed bone in chicken breast with roasted veggies and it was delicious and quick! Sheet pan dinners are great, and all meat cooks tender and juicy! My big oven is just for bread and cakes now!
I like this reply bc I have friends who raved about air fryers and noticed they seemed to be only eating chicken wings, fish sticks and French fries. Absolutely love mine! I use it for almost everything and hardly every use my big oven. Love that it hugs the wall and opens up my counter when I don’t need it. Great review!
So…. I’m an idiot. I’ve had mine since early 2020 and somehow completely missed the fact that it was made to flip up for storage. My ONLY complaint about my Foodi was that it always said “FLIP” after my food was done. I’ve thought this whole time that it was telling me to flip the dang food. 🤪
I got one of these, so far I like it way more than any toaster oven I've had, nearly all the toaster ovens were too small in depth and width to do frozen pizzas. This does any standard frozen pizza on the market. Also, I had a friend cut a 3/16" steel 13x13 cleaned it, and cooked it, than seasoned it with avocado oil to use as a sear plate and a pizza steel. Perfect for making scratch pizza.
So there is a way to open the bottom. If you flip the Foodi into the vertical position, there should be a button on the plastic frame underneath that will open the entire underside beneath the catch tray. This makes it much easier to clean the back interior and the overall inside of the Ninja Foodi oven.

Upgrading from a 30 something dollar toaster oven that fit about 2 burritos, i feel like I've come out of a dark age, frankly i don't even know what it means to "air fry" something, but whatever it's doing it does it well!! I just got a Costco membership for the first time and this plus the Frigidaire nugget ice maker has completely solved my fast food problem
i have the exact same model .. however; CLEANING MUST BE DONE AFTER EVERY USE; otherwise, cleaning will need elbow grease.. SOS pads....it took me 30 minutes to clean. the inside was all brown with grease. it came out alot better than before but i will live with it
I agree with the time it took to clean the cooking pan after making the honey sriracha chicken wings. Used Dawn and water. Next time will try the SOS pads.
I see problems here. Due to its low clearance there isn’t much space in there to properly circulate the air. Not sure if this would be as good as a stand alone air fryer. The air fryers are very bulky because it needs that space to properly circulate the air. Also the heating elements due to its slim design are very close to the food. If you want to heat lets say a croissant, by the time you heat the inside the top flaky layers of it would burn. Thats hard to control even in a spacious toaster, but in the slim one I think you would get burned tops
Is it fairly quiet? I ordered a different brand and it was extremely loud and gave off a burnt plastic toxic odor. I’m loving the ninja based on this video.
I was looking at this air fryer after the Cusinart airfryer(the one you have in your video) broke! The setting to change cooking methods stopped going all thge way to the right! I could only turen the dial to air broil.
I’m using this because my cuisinart broke. It seems too close to the top and I don’t understand why there’s no drip pan under the basket. The tray that comes with it has to stay beneath the bottom element. I usually cook thick steaks, so I’m lost
Okay, but you wouldn't grill a steak in a conventional oven, so why are you expecting a micro sized oven to do the same? It would be the same issue, the heating coils are exposed to fat and juice run-off, the tray is below them. You should be searing and cooking steaks on a stove or BBQ grill. The right tool for the right job.
My counter isn't that deep. Laying down it takes upstairs of the counter. When upright, it gives me back a little space. It you def can't have anything hanging under the counters like coffee mugs or wine glasses. It almost touches my cabinet.. Bayberry about 6 or so I ches between the two
Do you like the ninja or the cuisinart better? I was just gifted the cuisinart for Christmas but had been looking at the ninja, so now I'm torn on if I should keep the cuisinart or take it back and get the ninja.
I’m just wondering if the air fryer oven is hot to touch on the outside or is it insulated when using it? In other words, I’m hoping that it’s not hot on the outside of the oven and that it is insulated to minimize fire hazards.

I have this one & use it a lot. I can bake soda bread you need to flatten it out. I baked potatoes in it also fresh and frozen fish. I would prefer more height admittedly as it will not roast a full chicken so I use my large oven for that. It cooks faster also and heats up almost instantly. The fact that you can flip it and store it to the wall is another plus.
I've cooked raw food in here using the bake, roast and airfry features. Love it. You'll have to adjust any preset times and temperatures to suit your needs. Rarely use my regular oven now
@ChefDawg Oh! Sorry, after my comment, I realized it was a different model, the 10 in 1 version. Unfortunately, I'm going to be returning it to Costco because it's extremely smoky and filled the entire kitchen with smoke. My wings came out well, but I can definitely tell this product is more geared towards toasting and baking. Also, it's EXTREMELY difficult to clean....my goodness!
We love ours, but we are finding the dial harder and harder to use. It is overly touchy and sometimes will take 5m just to get it to stay on the right option/temperature. Anyone else?
that little mighty old Cuisinart you have there does everything this thing does, and better. Lets see you cook a whole chicken in this limited Ninja thing that costs way more. Really, I want to see you cram a 4 pound bird in this thing and cook it. Entertainment value off the charts.

How do I keep the thing clean? You can't use regular oven cleaner on it. I've had it 2 years now and while I spot clean stuff is getting harder to get off. HELP
I always use aluminum foil
@@ChefDawg The instructions clearly say NOT to use foil. I use parchment on the pan but the insides of the oven still get grungy.
we made pancakes with ours lol...........
We use ours for everything
How did you make pancakes with yours, very interesting! Would love to try that but still very much a newbie.
Isn't 14 inch standard pizza size?
Yep... for a large
@@ChefDawg Then they messed up by an inch.
I have a Ninja air fryer, similar to that 1. And hours after I'm done cooking. I mean hours the fan is still running.........😢
Wow, for sure not normal
What about cooking real cooking ie chicken breast, fish, real potatoes, not frozen food?
U need a real oven if u want to cook real food . This is mainly for reheating cooked food
@@Emolga6274 I love my big oven for baking my bread etc. but make some lovely dinners for one in my Ninja. Last night was baked salmon, and the night before, sheet pan dinner fresh chicken and roasted veggies! Yummy!
Rarely use my regular oven now
Bought one from Sam's Club
Hmm....mine has no back or button to pop off and clean.
Now that's weird
@ChefDawg Oh! Sorry, after my comment, I realized it was a different model, the 10 in 1 version.
Unfortunately, I'm going to be returning it to Costco because it's extremely smoky and filled the entire kitchen with smoke.
My wings came out well, but I can definitely tell this product is more geared towards toasting and baking.
Also, it's EXTREMELY difficult to clean....my goodness!
Fun fact, the Walmart version is $165 and it does not have the light button. Which sucks. I wanna see it cook Ninja!
You're willing to pay $85 more for a simple light? Seriously?
@@bobby45825 Floyd Mayweather wears a brand new pair of underwear every single day. That’s 365 pairs of new underwear per year.
Please review the new gormia air fryer oven with French doors at Costco!
We love ours, but we are finding the dial harder and harder to use. It is overly touchy and sometimes will take 5m just to get it to stay on the right option/temperature. Anyone else?
If you push the button it puts it on pause.
that little mighty old Cuisinart you have there does everything this thing does, and better. Lets see you cook a whole chicken in this limited Ninja thing that costs way more. Really, I want to see you cram a 4 pound bird in this thing and cook it. Entertainment value off the charts.
I agree, the only thing the old one can't do is dehydrat. We could fit a turkey in there too haha
Limited height inside is a problem for me to buy this one!
The ideal of this one it's a space saver .I don't have room for a big one on my counter like some people do
Spatchcoked mine and it was great
Why are you cooking a whole chicken in an air fryer anyways? That's what ovens are for.
Can I air fry a piece of salmon?
I wouldn't know, I mean you could try and tell us if it worked
I air fry my salmon in there ALL the time and it is moist and delicious!!!!
Where’d chef dawg go?
School but we'll start doing more this week
Actually cost around 159.00
The more time that goes by the cheaper they get
I was just about to say it depends on when you buy it. When they first came out they were 299. So glad I didn't impulse buy because atound christmas, they were on sale at kohls for 169 or somewhere around there. I had a 40% off coupon and kohls cash (clothes shopping for kids 😅😅) and my end balance was $69.00 🎉🎉
How many different air fryers do you have 😂
2...gave the 3rd away to chef dawg fan
