- Reality TV star Todd Chrisley says life behind bars is getting worse. Chrisley is serving 12 years at a minimum security prison in Florida. He spoke exclusively to NewsNation’s Brian Entin. He says he's being kept from praying in the chapel. The Florida Federal Bureau of Prisons issued a statement saying its facilities are “safe, secure, and humane. All allegations of misconduct, including retaliation, are referred for administrative action and/or criminal prosecution if warranted.”
Now he knows what it's like to experience the life of poor people.

Be careful about complaining in jail/prison. They may fix what you complain about but the solution might ruin something you actually appreciated and cherished more. If You complain about mold yeah they may clean and repaint but they may also remove a rare showerhead that stays on and has awesome pressure and heat. Its prison so think out the battle you really want fixed. Accept that it's prison. Try to mitigate boredom. Also stop picking random battles with officers just to give them the business. Because malicious compliance...

This reminds me of that very wealthy lady in Connecticut who sued her 8 year old nephew because he hugged her and accidently injured her hand. (Now she didn't want to sue him, per Connecticut insurance law you can't sue a home insurance policy for a personal injury case, you have to sue the party that cause the injury but I digress.) Her main complaints was that she couldn't live her immensely lavish life because of the injured hand. A jury threw the suit out in less than 10 minutes, that is what this reminds me of.

Food safety in prison is a serious matter regardless who he is. Anyone can be in prison and you could be in his place.

He and his family had a reality TV series called "Chrisley Knows Best" on the USA network since 2014 but ended in 2023. Their oldest children had a spinoff show. They were one of the famed reality tv series families until Todd and Julie's incarcerations. They're convicted for bank fraud, tax evasion, and submitting false documents to banks to take out loans that funded their lavish lifestyle. Todd got 12 years and Julie got 7 years. They started their sentences a year ago.

NO prisoner can call another prison and talk to other prisoners. If I was in prison they wouldn't let me call somebody else in another prison and I certainly wouldn't be getting interviewed by the local news channel. I would be told to shut up and deal with it.

They were for tv, fake flirting & all. Deep down Julie (the wife) knew of her husband’s lifestyle interests & maybe knew of his affair he had with a long time friend (of whom helped Todd with the fraudulent schemes). The couple said themselves they don’t spend much time together. She was probably just happy to be able to fund her expensive living.
