Superb dialogue delivery and excellent screenplay by everyone including the actor who played Mr.Frith.. just superb . Brings the tears into eyes , when Jeeves goes silent and then utters those words . Just amazing .

‘83 isn’t going to be measured for its box office success or breaking the 1c or 2c club. This is an emotion. One that only Indians or someone who has lived in India for an extended time will understand. Being a Malaysian Sikh I never understood the fuss about cricket … to be honest I never understood the game. But then I moved to india … I understood the love for the game, I respected the emotions that came with it and soon began to love it. My personal highlight was the india vs Pakistan game semi finals that india won. That night I saw the streets filled with celebrations - never had I witnessed a celebration of such magnitude in my entire life. ‘83 teaches you to take in what the world says but don’t believe any of it. Use it as a fuel to prove yourself where and when it matters. So thank you to the real team of ‘83 and for the reel team who allowed us to feel the sheer joy of that moment.

83 was released during Omicron outbreak concerns. Delhi theatres were shut. Behind that theatres across India started shutting. Also due to outbreak, the target population couldn't make it to theatres, 45+ population who experienced WC victory. I watched this in a theatre in Kochi. It is the best theatrical experience I've had so far. Also there's a difference between making money and winning hearts. 15 years from now, 83 will be known as one of the finest films made in India. During OTT era, opening numbers shouldn't determine the success of the film.

Loved loved loved this movie. I was so eager to watch it in theatres but the covid situation got worse. Glad that's finally on OTT. Im so so proud of the cast, it couldn't have been better. Ranveer is Ranveer ofc - the Star, but the others, especially Saqib, Harddy, Jiva were so so good. My dad was very impressed. And the best part was to see Jimmy Sir playing Lala and Kapil sir in a cameo. Well done

This movie was beautiful, due to pandemic, it failed at box office but it's a masterpiece. Ranveer as Kaps, Jiva as Srikant, Nishant as Roger Binny, Tahir as Sunny Paaji, Hardy as Maddi Paa, Ammy as Sandhu Paaji were brilliant in the role. Jatin Sarna have made people realise that he can do any role you give to him.

Some moments were good, the casting was perfect. Overall the storytelling was missing like Dhoni. 83 is just an attempt to honour the champions than trying to make a great film. Appreciate the efforts.

for me it was like living the 83 which i had just saw highlights in bits and pieces which i watched in early 90s memories and emotional connect made it special and its not like a biopic . its something above of it one of the good films of 2021
