As far I know Srikanth was chain smoker -happy go lucky and had strange body ticks - I admired him we played against POUT university in 1979/ 80 and he was the captain and we played against them -Karnataka university . Every time I would bowled at him he was so unorthodox in his game I felt I could take his wicket!! 🙏

PM Indira Gandhi too had a long Photo Session with that World Cup winning squad. That moment was a great honour for a Sportperson.
