- I am excited to finally announce that I will be heading to Brick Rodeo this July 4th to 7th, and bringing with me a large medieval diorama to display! Part 1 of this build is the blacksmith shop,

Great build! Love the terrain and all the lovely details! I'll be at Brick Rodeo and am so excited that you at are displaying there as well! I love that you talked about building a lot of flat terrain I myself have been doing a lot of flat terrain and am working on adding some height and different levels to my builds as well. I have enjoyed all your builds and have learned so much from them! In fact my very first display at Brick Rodeo last year was inspired by your Holstrom Manor. Look forward to seeing you Brick Rodeo!

I love the build. Amazing detail and that terrain is exactly what I was looking for as I am struggling with terrains.
Thank you so much! I really love working on the landscaping and foliage part of any build! My motto is, if it doesn't look right, keep adding to it! Lots of trial and error but can really make a build come together!

I hope you have a safe and successful trip to Texas and would love to go myself. I would maybe recommend breaking down into small sub-assemblies and use plenty of bubble wrap. Take plenty of photos of the build before you go so you know how it looked beforehand. Keep fingers well crossed 🤞😀

Great build as always 👏I never flew with a moc, but I shipped one to Denmark and it reached destination in good condition. I would recommend to build modular, break down in smaller sections. Wrap every section in cling wrap, so if they break you know where the pieces go. Then pack everything tightly with some sort of cushion, everything lock into place with no space to move around. Probably better remove most of the foliage and add it again at the convention
Thanks for the suggestions! I had similar ideas so glad to know I was on the right track haha. All the foliage will be removed and packed into bags per section so hopefully it won't take too long to rebuild.
I'm mostly worried about the buildings but also hoping most of them can fit into 2 carry-ons!

OMG THATS SO COOL GIRL!! So happy for you. Logistical - maybe go to Buffalo (inland flights are typically cheaper). Typically people use this option when travelling with expensive musical instruments that are bulky - book a second seat? (If it’s in the budget). I feel like you would have a better eye on it that way 🤷♀️

I really wanted to attend Brick Rodeo this year, as I live in TX and have never been to a convention before. I even have a complete Star Wars moc to display. Unfortunately, I have a work conflict that week, so I won't be able to attend. :( Maybe next year!
