I remember this movie! We rented the DVD from Reasor’s Video and I enjoyed it. I was originally familiar with Family Home Entertainment as they were the distributor for Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie (As a family label for Artisan Entertainment, that is), and this movie was how I became more familiar with the company outside of Jonah. Also, some stuff I want to point out: 1.) I don’t remember the Lionsgate logo being part of the opening and closing. My memory must be a bit fuzzy. 2.) Looking back, Olive Oyl sounds a bit like Rarity! Not surprised since they have the same voice actress (Also voices Martha the dog and Gotenks in the Ocean dub of Dragon Ball Z) 3.) Popeye telling Bluto to get outta his DVD menu is the funniest. 4.) Nuance Productions was involved with this film?! That’s so interesting! I do know they did business with Sony Pictures Television in the past.
@@elevig3632I don't know because it's been a long time since I ever saw this movie in it's entirety. I'll definitely let you know once I get the opportunity to rewatch it.

I love this movie! It stayed true to the original Popeye cartoons by having a great story and rendering the characters in 3D!
Me too

I love how in the special features menu Popeye seems to be enchanted by the mermaid statue!
Me too i wonder how many people like it

Interesting how Bluto accepted his defeat from Popeye and joined his ship crew.

Yep, Billy West.
Robin Williams Coming Back 2027 As Popeye!
I Love This Movie.
@Yugioh Fanservice and more I don't care about her. i only liked Popeye, Olive, Sweet Pea, Wimpy, Bluto, and Pappy in this movie, that's it.
@Yugioh Fanservice and more to me she's a rip off of Callie Briggs, that's all i'm gonna say.

Could you upload the behind the scenes interviews?
Kinda wondering why Bluto was a good guy in this one
Well, there were other times where Bluto was also the good guy such as “Seein’ Red, White and Blue” (1943).
