I'm an electrician in the uk, and Ive had the tech Xl for about 7 or 8 years now, been a great bag, I decided to get an open tote for quick jobs,, I thought about the Stanley fat max open bag, but reviews were not good., for quick jobs I always use my 12 v bosch impact and the 12v drill, they could go in the middle, at the moment, in the uk, they have a deal, the MB3 meter bag is free with the veto ot, so not bad.
I just got my new bag today. I was wondering if anybody else also has a brand new OT LC that has rusted D ring bolts? And an extra 1" or so of the leather inside their bag that blocks the inserts from being removed without a fight? Also an uneven cut on the leather on the outside?
Hey bud, I would like to know each an every tool u have, if u could put a link as to where u got them or bought it at. I would appreciate that a lot thanks.
Depends on the situation… if you’ve got a fastener you need to ratchet on and need several bites, yes. But they’re limited in size range and it requires 3 or 4 Joker6004 to cover the capacity of a single adjustable wrench… if I had to pick one tool to carry and scrap all the rest, I’d ditch both of them and go with a pair of pliers wrenches like the ones I have from Knipex… in my opinion they give you the best of both worlds- a wide range of fastener size and the ability to easily “ratchet” them around once you get a feel for holding them. If you hold a pliers wrench with the one handle in the butt of your thumb and two fingers sandwiching the other handle, you can very easily open/squeeze them as you ratchet it around the fastener…. Hopefully that makes sense, let me know if it doesn’t and I’ll post a “shorts” video showing it
Nice video! So I’ve been thinking about getting this bag but it’s so much money carried around in that bag I feel like it is a lifters dream-your thought?
I understand the thought, and in certain circumstances you’d be right. For me I try to keep it within eyesight and hope that people who aren’t in the trades won’t realize it’s value and hopefully those who do know it’s value would be honest enough not to steal it… there’s no right answer there though
@@revg2608 oh for sure it is… you started rallying up the cost of the bag and the tools as well and it’s painful to set it down and walk away hoping nothing disappears
Boothbrave001(IG name) , I’ve got the OT-LC open top, tech mct bag . Now I’m looking at the tech or-mc or lc. Dilemma is needing duplicate tools for each bag .🤞wiha hex keys please!
So far the velcro has been holding up great. I've had no issues with any of the inserts coming undone, falling off or anything else. That said, I do wish the top row of velcro was closer to the top of the panel. In my bag it seems like the panel "leans forward" a bit and leaves a little gap at the top, not a big deal but you've gotta pay attention as you slide tools into that upper row of pockets
Would make for an awesome christmas present! Honestly, the velcro is fine, I'm just being picky about the top row. Like I said, no panels have come loose or anything as of yet. And there's enough velcro there that it is genuinely a minor struggle to pull a panel out and swap it lol
Have shoulder issues from the XL. This helped me in deciding to get the LC. Thanks
Just got mine to use as a soldering bag. also a good hack, the spare panel fits nicely in a veto pro PAC.
Great load out and bag 👍 cheers for the video.
Great video and demo of this awesome creation by Veto. Great choice in tools as well. Enjoy
Thank you! Cheers!

Hell of a nice setup there, guy.

Great review I'm also using the OT-LC it is fantastic
Does Wera sell the Joker set in Standard sizes?
How do those Velcro swap inserts feel I’m skeptical of the velcro part I’m a service plumber
Can you fit both an impact and a drill on the open side 18v?
Andrew are the 6004 wera wrenches bettwe than using an adjustable wrench?

Great review , Veto is the best👍
Let's play over/under for this tool kit. The bet is $3000. Is it over or under? I know which one...
$3000 USD? … Way under
Cool

@@SomeGuywithTools thanks for your response. I figured I just be vigilant! Lots of $$$ we carry around in a bag.

@@SomeGuywithTools yeah I love the open top style but I’m iffy on those Velcro’s might be a Christmas present from Santa wife lol
