Can you do a story on Susan Peters? She died age 31 due to suicide after an accidental gunshot wound that left her paralyzed... Thanks!
Karine I'd love to see what Loni Anderson is up to. She has a very compelling life starting as a single mom. Thank you and Jesus bless you ❤
Mad respect to Betty for standing up for herself and keeping the goodies in the jar.
Babygirl is snatched!
Betty got that Disney princess body. ❤️😅
That waist..itwas beyond an hour glass .Almost inconceivable. She has so much character to refuse to give in to pressure I remember her and Joe Wieder champions during my childhood
She was so young. What the heck was wrong with our society? And why hasn’t it changed more in all this time? She clearly knew her value. Good for her.
Oh my goodness Karine, I'm so glad you're doing Betty Brosmer. If memory serves me correctly her husband is the one who trained Schwarzenegger.
Yes her husband is. Arnold still honors her today. Her and her husband really made the fitness community what it is today! Legends ❤
Joe Weider's wife! Even when she was older she was in great shape and looked beautiful. I used to be a workout addict and into bodybuilding so I remember seeing her photos in Muscle & Fitness magazines in the 1980s & 1990s. I had never seen her photos from when she was very young.
Betty Brosmer Weider....what a TRAILBLAZER in the world of pin up and fitness! She is a BEAUTIFUL pioneer who has ALWAYS known her worth! This is an INSPIRING breakdown! Rest in peace to the love of her life Joe Weider. 😔🙏🏾🕊️❤️
@@KarineAlourdeyour videos are horrible. You're trying to get popular by making videos about others...wow sad
I think she was the prototype for the original Barbie she
even had a stripe swimsuit like hers allegedly 😊
Never heard of her until now but her body was STUNNING. Now that's what you called a snatched waist. She aged so gracefully
Wow Betty is still soooo beautiful! It’s so nice to see a happy story
It really is! 💖
OMG that body and then realize that it’s all natural!
Love this stories of theses beautiful actresses 🍿😂
Refreshing to know that she was a woman who was into fitness but still kept her feminine hourglass shape. Lady lumps are a beautiful thing and should be celebrated.
They did different exercises back then and they shaped the muscles differently❤
@@essies4294 I'm seeing way too many women these days work off their feminine shape. They have no breasts, no hips, no thighs, no ass. They look like a broomstick and they think that looks good?
Sometimes weight lifting make you body look muscular I stop doing exercises 😂 shes beautiful woman
Wow! She got even more beautiful as she grew older. I love a happy story. Hollywood had too many tragedies.
Wow! She is absolutely stunning. If ever someone resembled a live action Jessica Rabbit, it’s this woman. What an amazing woman! One thing I’ve noticed as far as beauty secrets is that a lot of them avoid processed foods, exercise, drink lots of water. It takes discipline, but common sense. Not easy to follow necessarily with all the fast and processed foods, but it makes sense. I love stories like this that are of female empowerment and have a happy ending.
That’s what I was thinking she looks like a human Jessica Rabbit.
I'm proud to say that knew about Betty Brosmer before Karine's video😊
Yes 🙌🏽 She is a legend
She was healthy and didnt do drugs is why shes still here in her 90s wow
As soon as you said "Weider," I yelled "Oh, Betty!," and scared the cat, lol! 😅 I used to read M&F in my teens, so I remember the older, but boss "'90's Betty," and her column that peaked my interest in weight lifting for women (info from women like her, Gladys Portugues, Cory Everson, Linda Murray, etc. actually helped me prep to get into the Navy and blaze through basic). This was great new info on her, and a lovely trip down memory lane for me! So ironic that you're showing this now when I've recently re-ignited my love for weight lifting in my middle age years...I'll take it as a sign that I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. Great video, and thanks for the darling memories, Karine! 🥰🥰🥰
I remember; those were the days!
I loved Cory Everson and Rachel McLish. Such health role models- ❤
I swear that woman is the definition of 'aged like fine wine', she is beautiful!
How did I never hear about her?? Love your vids, I always learn something!
She was perfect as a Vargas Girl!
OMG, the striped swimsuit! 1950s Barbie came with that suit, Barbies hair was black with a pony tail. They should have paid her.
I’ve never heard of Betty her story is so intriguing. And her body OMG
Thank you for always covering pin ups.❤
I love hearing how Betty stood up for herself!!!!!!✨🤌🏼✨
Reminds me of Mikaela Peterson.❤
I love pin ups 😍 Betty is that girl ❤
What a gorgeous and classy woman! I used to read Muscle and Fitness magazine years ago and Betty was always an inspiration.
An amazing woman. Honored to have met her.
A true stunning beauty.
I used to read Muscle and Fitness when I was bodybuilding back in the 1980's. I always thought she was so beautiful. I did not know the details on her early years. What a beauty she is.
M & F yes brings back fond memories and Weider
She's beautiful! Thank you for sharing Karine. 💖
She must have had ribs removed to get that waist...that's not normal. Many women removed their 11th & 12th lower ribs to get a tiny waist.
Wow! A positive story! Loved it!
Good for her
Damn right we're proud of her
This is such a history lesson. Thank you Boo. Glad I found you✌️
That was a wonderful story about Betty. Thanks so much!!!
Another excellent video, thank you! 🙏🏾
Thank you so much for this biography. I never heard of Betty Brosmer before today despite her being a great role model for fitness.
Ok, Karine🙌🏼🙌🏼..bringing out some women that really get overlooked by most but not by you, love it🫶🏼
Your video made me do a deeper dive into the details of Betty's life. What a presentation and what an inspiration!💕
All the men in my neighborhood who are into fitness (I see them running every day)wear a kind of corset, and I was wondering about it ! Thanks fkr all the invaluable info, great video!
Awesome video. Thanks ❤️
She was SO young! We of course don't really know what she went through at the time but at least it wasn't another string of powerful old men again, just the two. You can see it's corset training, some women still do that and you see the organs shift down, they have to go somewhere after all. It would require her to be in one most of the time and seemingly from a very young age as they already saw that figure. I wonder if her mother did it too.
Oh interesting!
@@AttitudeOfAries Girdles were part of the wardrobe for many women back then, it would be logical if they wanted to do everything they could to maintain and increase her figure as she was already known for that at 13.
You can see she has a healthy amount of bodyfat too so it's not from being super skinny.
Amazing work 😻
This lady’ s an icon!
She’s a legend; mentor!
Still living 🙏😻💖❤️
I love the way you introduced her husband! I had an " ah- ha!" moment -That's Betty Weider! I've followed her since the '80's( I did some weight training in my youth, lol). She's always seemed a very gentle, kind lady. Thank you so much for this video! ❤️
This was a lovely video🙂
What a beautiful story. She’s beautiful. ❤
Everytime I watch your videos it's like I'm travelling trough time. I'm obsessed with past times❤❤❤

Such a beauty full soul❤
As a woman, this channel inspires me to be appreciative of life and living in a wholesome, cheerful way!❤
Really appreciate you❤
Great channel, love watching these stories. Don't forgot about these possible tragic women: Jean Seberg, Carole Landis and Frances Farmer.
A true super model and woman!
Oh I really enjoyed her story. Thank you 👍
Big fan karine
Nice warm story. She had a good positive life which is good 😊
Oh I really needed to know that one beautiful person in and out made it the right way and it shows on her even after 60 she looked amazingly stunning ❤❤❤❤❤ thank you
That took major cahunas for her to stand her ground on not baring it all, especially back then. They really chewed women up and spit them out.
KARINE 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for an eye opening video. I’d never heard of her before this but I’m very glad to have been introduced to her. Her husband is a legend in the world of bodybuilding.
Wow! Never heard of her! ❤loved hearing her story!
Omygoodness Karine❣️ This is Betty Weider ! I lived their magazine and she was gorgeous and such a pioneer and great support for her husband and Muscle and Fitness 😊 I loved reading her articles wow thank you I just love your videos
she looks amazing.
Could you feature Leslie Uggams, currently 80 years old and appearing in The movie American Fiction.
I love your videos ! Learning so much about people that I didn't know existed. The way you tell their life story is great and very respectful. ❤
I really enjoyed this video. It was so great to see and hear about this amazing woman and in my opinion the best couple in the fitness community.
SHE LOOKS BEAUTIFUL
What a wonderful story. It's so nice to hear about a strong and successful woman
Omg her waits! I’m a size 1 and even I’m like 😮. I dont have hips lolol. To be that skinny AND still have hips….rare.
Good show
I read my Dad's copies of M&F, but had no idea that this was the same Betty Weider that had been featured until you said her name. That's awesome!
Listennnnn.... The waistline is SNATCHED HONEY!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
I am inspired off to the gym I go! Lol
Like guys there are people with necks that are 17” wow 😯 18” waist Geez what a stunning woman!
I don’t know if you take requests but I would love to see you do an episode on Catherine Deneuve, she’s one of my all time favorite actresses and I wish more people knew about her incredible work as an actress and her life (especially having lost her sister Françoise Dorleac so early into that career).
Never heard of her, she’s amazing inside and out 😊
Loved it, lovely to k ow shes alive and well.
Please do Joan Collins, Barbara Windsor, Joanna Lumley
I know her as Betty Weider married to Joe Weider And I remember that waistline!
Wow she looks amazing after all of these years she has to be one of God's favorites 🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️🥰🥰🥰❤️🥰❤️
She got into corsets when she was young and her body was still developing as did Dita Von Teese. Makes a HUGE difference as their bones were still growing.
Photo at 14:34 is a very young Arnold Schwarzenegger holding Betty and at 15:04 Betty is with female bodybuilding champion Rachel McLish - she was my idol back in the day and inspired me to workout hard with weights.
Me too!
Another bombshell I never heard of this woman is a knockout & she has a sick waist kudos to Betty for not being a pushover this is one classy gal plus she got Playboy to back off. Even in her golden years this lady is still stunning.
Could you do the most famous woman in Brazil 🇧🇷 Xuxa and her controversies. Global superstar and multi millionaire wealthiest woman in Latin America.
She's gorgeous and looks like a pin-up. I thought for sure you were going to say she modeled for Gil Elvgren, who was an advertising illustrator, but more known for his pin-up illustrations. 🌹💪
Please do the beautiful Tammi Terrell
Never heard of her til tonight but what a happy ending
I like that her story is a good one. I'm sure she went through a lot we don't know of, so many stories are heartbreaking. Not so much hers. ❤❤
Her figure is to die for 💕 omg
