I don’t think Helena gets the recognition she deserves. Pictures and videos DO NOT show how incredibly gorgeous she was. In 1991 I was one of the dressers at a fashion show for a small ex-model designer that my company made samples for. I was assigned to dress Maureen Gallagher and Helena was right next to us. I was struck speechless when I first saw her. The contrast between her beautiful skin and hair color and her eyes was nothing less than extraordinary. Absolutely striking! She was WAY more beautiful in person than what you see in photos or on a screen. As beautiful as she is, I used to joke that for a model she doesn’t take very good pictures, because the camera just could not capture her true beauty. I’m a witness! She was the most gorgeous one there that night… and they were all gorgeous.

I’ve always been fascinated by Helena Christensen because she has this uniqueness about her beauty that you don’t really get from other supermodels, likewise Linda Evangelista. It’s easy to look at a model and see that they have rather feline or deer-like features such as Renée Simonsen and Christy Turlington, however, Helena’s beauty has the essence of that of a reptile and I think that’s what makes her so unique since most models are typically feline or barbie looking like Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer, Karen Mulder even. I’ve always been fascinated by Helena Christensen because she has this uniqueness about her beauty that you don’t really get from other supermodels, likewise Linda Evangelista. It’s easy to look at a model and see that they have rather feline or deer-like features such as Renée Simonsen and Christy Turlington, however, Helena’s beauty has the essence of that of a reptile and I think that’s what makes her so unique since most models are typically feline or barbie looking like Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer, Karen Mulder even. On the side note, I’d say Linda Evangelista is flamingo pretty.
