    This is my new 1996 Suzuki Carry. I got it about 2 weeks ago, and it recently passed inspection. It was pretty heavily modified before I bought it, and in this video we walk around and talk about some of its features.
    It's set up for off-road, and although I've seen more extreme setups, this one is very solid (maybe too much even...but we'll see). Driving on the street can prove challenging, and the gigantic, super grippy tires and welded differential don't help for speed or maneuverability. Having said that, those issues can be lived with/adjusted if need be. I like the locked diff for climbing, and anything unpaved especially. This thing is actually a tank off-road....I will have to show you guys in future videos. I'm not good at it at all, but other people are and it can be done in this.
    Enjoy :)

    I wanted one of those. Looks like tons of fun. Probably could do some work too. I like your winch setup. Love mini trucks. Y'all have a great day.

      Thanks bro. You could definitely work in one; the guy that sold it to me sold lots to tree companies in the past. Winch just pops in and out of the tow sleeve….very easy to set up. And you’re right: it’s tons of fun to drive! Thanks for watching and have a great day too 👌

    That's slick
    My dad used to have two of them & he would load it into his 2ton dump truck & take it to the job & I would usually drive it home (I was 13yrs old)

    Brilliant truck, man! Where did you get the fender flares? We need to register them as so-called preservable worthy vehicles Here in Norway, but they are more rare than hens teeth over here so I bet I could convince them that they come with flares like that from the factory.

      I got them here:
      mini4x4.ca/store/index.php?route=product/search&description=1&search=Fender%20
      If it doesn’t work, you can find them on mini4x4.ca if you search “fender” in the search bar. You can always install them after inspection, if that helps…same as the rest of the mods 😉

    Nice truck…you said it was challenging on the street what make it challenging on the street? I’m trying to figure out what I want to do with my so any input would be great.

    • @BRIDGEBURNERSTV
      @BRIDGEBURNERSTV  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks man. Biggest issue on the street is that it’s a 4-speed, so it’s geared to go slower, and the welded diff (exclusive to mine) makes it not great for daily driving. It’s not really ideal for the highway.
      Also, with all the off-road mods, there is a lot of added weight but the suspension is also extremely stiff. It’s just not super comfortable.
      However, mine is set up for the bush. You can totally daily drive these, especially if you don’t throw on several hundred pounds of mods…and if you have a 5 speed that’s even better.
      I don’t know what your setup is but I’m always looking for ideas also.

    • @dogger99
      @dogger99 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Right now I have a 2005 stock and I’m think about a lift kit and either the 300 or 250 springs from mini4x4 and was a little worried the 300 maybe to heavy any thoughts?

    • @BRIDGEBURNERSTV
      @BRIDGEBURNERSTV  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@dogger99 suspension upgrade is always a good idea on these things, even if just being used on the road. But you got a 2005, sounds like you’ll be using it more for like farm work, correct? Can you plate that one?
      Lift kit makes it look cool and adds clearance but not always necessary. Depends on what wheels and tires you put, etc.
      By the way, Ron at mini4x4 is a G. This is his old truck, and he did all of the hard mods. Since this video I’ve done lots more to it, but Ron did all the difficult stuff, and he didn’t cut any corners.
      He can also advise you where I can’t; he knows his shit about how it all works.
      I’ll make an update vid on how it looks now; I’d love to see your truck btw. I still absolutely love mine.

    Nice! Man I wish I had a dump bed on mine.
    50mpg? 35mpg? Or did you meant 35 kmpg?

    • @BRIDGEBURNERSTV
      @BRIDGEBURNERSTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man. The dump bed is handy for work and mods….you can just lift it right up and not have to unbolt the panel in the bed. Apart from that I’ve yet to use it 🤫
      The official rating is 50 mpg…but with my massive tires, locked diff, 4 speed transmission, plus several hundred pounds in push bar weight and the sub frame for the dumper, I’m not getting maximum fuel economy….or pep 😂
      Which setup do you have?
