What should we eat these food with? Especially the fish, since it won't be good for too long.
We found these at a specialty international store near us. They had more, but that's all we could afford for now.

Eat it with boiled potatoes and sourcream. Perhaps some finely cut chives on top if you have it.
Everything can also be eaten on dark hard bread. Or on rye bread if you want to be danish.

Here are some tips. Kalles kaviar can you have on a sandwich or crackers. Preferably on top of a sliced boiled egg. You can eat Abbas' mustard herring as it is with potatoes and eggs. Matjessill herring we eat at midsummer with boiled new potatoes with sour cream, chives and dill. pickled cucumber can be used as a complement to meat dishes such as meatballs or on a sandwich with liver pate.

@@MaxSujyNorden For us in the older generation, ABBA was associated with canned fish until the musical group ABBA was formed in the 70s. those of us who were there at the time probably thought it was a strange name and I have also read that Björn Ulvaeus in ABBA thought the same. here is some info about the fish delicacy company ABBA. Ever since the beginning in 1838, Abba has taken care of the best from the sea by crafting food traditions and flavors of the highest quality.

Saltgurka (pickled cucumbers) works well on burgers or sandwiches as you said. It can be as easy as a couple of slices on a cheese sandwich. And if you make Swedish meatballs, it's great instead of lingonberry jam if you like salty more than sour.
Senapssill (mustard herring), as well as other pickled herring, goes well with potatoes. Often eaten as a starter before the main course.
But I use to make a quick snack with those creamy versions by simply putting a piece on a halved hard boiled egg. If you have the egg readily boiled it's almost as easy to make as it is eating it.
Matjessill - with boiled potatoes, and put some sourcream on the fish (and some fine chopped chives too). Usually eaten as a starter too. For me it's a summer thing, but I prefer other herring versions.
Kalles Kaviar is just for eggs in my opinion. but it can be used in a sauce and eaten with fish (I'm not a fan). Someone even told me they like it on pasta, but that sounds just wrong to me. :D
Or try mixing it with mayonnaise and having it on a sandwich or for dipping.

The fish is not raw. It is pickled.. So you eat it as is. But together with other foods. The reason we eat a lot of pickled herring here is because during winter. Nothing grows. So we have learned how to store and to pickle foods to hold for a long tims so we could survive through the cold dark winter. This is why we have a lot of smoked salmon as well.. Fish preserved in lye.. We also eat a lot of cured sausages.. Pickled beets. Jarred cabbage.. etc.etc.
I have seen a small trend starting among younger adults lately. Chop the herring into small pieces.. And have it on sushi rice with nori seaweed around.. You have Swedish style sushi.. :-)

I made a list of some serving suggestions:
The "Salt Gurka" can go on a plain cheese sandwich, or the more common one: liverpaté sandwich. Or if you don't have lingon jam, you can have it with your meatballs and gravy with boiled or mashed potatos. It goes well with Swedish meat and minced meat dishes. People use it a lot.
And yes, on burgers. (There are also different kinds of pickled cucumbers. Those that are pickled in a sweet and sour vinegar based solution. And then those that are pickled in a salt based solution. )
"Sill" ("Senaps sill" in one of my favorites, I like the ones in a sauce) is a VERY VERY common thing in Sweden. Its served on pretty much EVERY big holiday. Christmas, Easter, Midsummer.
If its just a normal day, you can eat it on a sandwich with your warm boil eggs for breakfast. At home, a very common summer meal is boild "new" potatoes with dill, served together with the "sill" of your choice (Traditionally it's more often "matje sill") and "Gräddfil (kind of a sour cream) that you sprinkle freshly chopped chives on top. And of course: a "snaps".
On a "smörgåsbord" that you can find on many Swedish holidays, you usually have a variety of different "sill". You eat in on its own, or as a side with the other things on the "smörgåsbord". Oh! and you can also make a "sill-tårta" (Sill-cake) its kinda like the sandwich cake you reacted to, but with "sill" and fillings that suit the fishy-ness.
(The can of "Matjes" is also pickled herring, sill. but not in a sauce, like the mustard one. it's just in the pickled sulution, and the way it gets pickled is a little different from other "sill".
"Pickled herring, like onion herring and mustard herring, are salted herring that are first drained of water and then put in a vinegar solution or cold sauce, but "matjes" herring is put directly in its spicy solution, without being salted first."
Also, you don't really eat the liquid from this one, just the fish.
The "Kalles Kaviar" is mainly made of salted cod roe. It is best suited with eggs in my opinion, but I like it just plain on a hard bread (Knäckebröd). Its good on warm boild egg. Cold boild egg on a sandwich. Cold fried eggs on a sandwich.
Sorry, this got SOO long xD

Salted cucumber is perfect on top of liver pate as a topping on dark bread. Also on hamburgers and with mashed potatoes and lingonberries and with pickles, is also good. Kalle's caviar is best on a sandwich with sliced egg or just Kalle's on rye bread. Mustard herring also goes well with boiled eggs, just like all pickled herring do. Matjesill is not one of my favourites, but it is always served at midsummer together with various herring and boiled new potatoes with dill and sour cream and chopped chives. Drinks include schnapps and then either vodka or Skåne akvavit. (vodka seasoned with herbs) Glad you liked part of our Swedish food culture.

Senapssill is just one of perhaps 20 kinds of pickled Herring, there's Inlagd sill, Fransk löksill, Tomatsill, Skärgårdssill, and many more, plus it's easy to make your own, best eaten with potatoes, same with Matjes. For the kinds without a creamy sauce (like matjes) it's a good idea to add a bit of Sour Cream/Crème fraiche and Chives
All variants of Herring are raw in a sense, but are perfectly fine to eat, they are not fermented, just pickled.
Kalles goes very well with boiled eggs, often eaten as a topping on bread (as opposed to the Herring).

You don't cook Matjesill, inlagd sill or senapssill, they are herring that been conserved, rhey are already prepared.
    Inlagd sill (pickled herring):
You make a one, two, three layer consisting of one part vinegar 24%, two parts sugar and three parts water. You heat it up on low heat so that the sugar dissolves, then it should cool down completely (become cold). Then you take a glass jar where you alternate layers of herring, sliced carrots, red onions, bay leaves and peppercorns. Then you pour the mixture over until it covers everything, put the lid on and let it stand for at least two days. In Sweden you can buy five-minute herring (already drained fillets of herring), otherwise you have to do it first before using it.

The two fish types (two different ways of preserving Herring) can be either eaten with boiled potatoes, some dill, hardboiled egg or on a hardbread (knäckebröd) or dark rye bread (my preference is a danish rye bread) with sliced hardboiled egg.
The tube of Kalles is smoked fish eggs, best eaten either directly on a hardboiled egg, or on a sandwich similar to the ones I described for the fish.
The salt gurka is used mainly together with fried or grilled pork, but will work for fried or grilled beef too. Or with swedish meat balls.
And yes, I think using either herring with a spicy thai sallad would work.

You can eat everything you tasted as it is, nothing of it is raw. But you should combine the sill (herring) with boiled poatoes and sourcream or natural yogourt and boiled eggs. Just boiled eggs on bread and sill is very tasty to and top it with some creme freiche. Potatoes goes with everything you tried. The caviar, Kalles caviar is best on eggs on bread and try it combined with dill. The cucumber is very tasty wth meat of all kind, hamburgers, sausages and steak or whatever you prefer. But please do not boil or prepare any of them, they already are prepared for eating. And do not give anything of it to the dogs because it contains things that can be poison for them but not for us.☺

    hi there.
kalles kaviar (the main ingredience is rom from a fish) = on a sandwich or whit eggs is the usual method.
abba senap sill ( abba mustard herring) = usually eating this at big holidays like midsummer and such and we eat it whit potatoes/ sourcreme meatballs and so on, some people put it on crispbread ( knäckebröd) and eat it
saltgurka (cucumber that have been put in liquid whit high salinity) = goes on a sandwish or beside a dish, i mainly eat it on a sandwich but it is up to you on how you want to eat it, i take bread then put on some butter then on that butter then i put cheese and then i put on the salt gurka.
abba matjess is like the abba senap sill but whit a difrent flavor.
and so you know you can eat the liquid that is in the containers but straight up eating the liquid is not a thing we (well i do not do that) do.
the liquid is more there to give the flavour to whatever is in the container.
    hope this clears things up.

You are not only so sweet and cute but genuinely funny when you are tasting different food.
I would say that Sweden or a lot of countries in Europe is quite bland when it comes to food or interesting dishes compare to Asia.
This is of course due to history and culture mainly.
We can always find taste similarities in foreign food, but I think Asia rules when it comes to combination flavours and that authentic freshness in a lot of their dishes compare to the rest of the world.
But it is always good, interesting and important to be of an open mind when eating, tasting and experience food.
Thank you for your intelligent and caring video channel.

No I think that Scandinavian cuisine is sweet and salty while a lot of other countries like their food sour and spicy or sour and salty.
