Laura Argentina have already shown they world they really want it. They put up a fight of their life each time. We are all putting our eyes on Messi but just look at the other players too. Like Enzo, Acuna, De Paul, Martines whenever he has been called on. They know messi is their most important player and they work like an engine to support his work

I have a feeling this is will be win for argentina , argentina are the perfect team to play against croatia, they don't completely attack any team but they are also kind of defensive team, they will just move the ball around, and I think that is something croatia wouldn't like to deal with, unlike the likes of brazil who always like to attack, argentina is likely to punish croatia on a turnover unlike other teams. Croatia like to defend with everyone packed in midfield but argentina is likely allow them possession there and look for turnovers. In a way croatia are very similar to netherlands and argentina were cruising against netherlands for 80 minutes.

Croatia have a great reputation for punching above their weight and getting results when nobody expects them to.

Well, this didn't age very well, did it? All these pundits shooting their mouths off in a way that makes you wonder whether they ever watched a serious football match. What on earth are you talking about? Argentina was the most cohesive team throughout the tournament, except for that first match. They dominated 80% of every other match. This is no longer a team that relies solely on Messi to get the job done. Obviously, when you have a player like that, you have the advantage. It would be foolish not to leverage it as much as you can. However, the secret to Argentina's winning the WC was not Messi, but their effective and dominant midfield, with Fernandez and MacAllister flying high, putting the pressure on for as long as their bodies allowed them to. It was precisely in the last two games where this came to bear the most, as they tactically and technically outplayed France and Croatia. And don't leave out Julian Alvarez and the amazing work rate he provides to the team.
And speaking of antics, I don't hear anybody talking about the antics the Dutch players pulled off before and during the game, and especially during the penalty shootout. So this whole lecture is pointless. Fact is Argentina won the WC fair and square.

maybe england need to take a leaf out of argentinas book and start being more aggressive and more ruthless it might get them further. being street smart and mastering certain traits of the dark arts is celebrated/embraced in other countries, particularly the south american countries . not only do these nations have good technical players but they also know how to mix it up and play dirty if they need to. thats a winners mentality doing whatever you have to do to win a game. france done that with england and it worked. england are too nice but thats a reflection of their manager. the team is a reflection of its manager and southgate isn't ruthless or street smart, he is too nice.

You can always trust the English pundits to talk down other teams when their own team has only one trophy won 56 years ago when those pundits were not even born. You'll think with such a poor record they'll learn to be humble! The passion of the South American teams is what makes them win. The English wouldn't know that as they're bottlers of the highest order. Even Denmark and Greece have won the Euros the past 30 years yet the English with all their over hyped players have never won the Euros. Happy losers!
I know he's the best player probably of all time, but you can see Argentine's machiavellian approach to winning using quite a bit of psychology. They like to look threatening with melodrama and anger and then conjure an obligation for everyone to give the cup to Messi through a royal entitlement. They also play the mysticism and divine right through God's providence routine. They are hungrier than everyone else. Problem is - if they lose, that country is going to be a basket case for a few weeks. It aint worth it putting too much emotion into something like this.
