Congrats! I really enjoy your channel, so glad I subscribed. It's nice meeting other people like myself. I want to make a proper coming out video. Telling people indiviudually is too emotional and frustrating.
+Jorah Mormutt Thanks man, really appreciate it. Yeah I get what you mean, but kinda don't cause my mum came out to them, I just had all the questions after haha.
Hi Jay great video - my parents weren't so accepting and refused to make the effort with me so pretty much any op's that i'm having or GIC appointments they won't/don't come to they have gotten better with calling me he/him/his and Mal but they slip up it's really my mum that does it and not my dad he's been more accepting then she has but to be honest i was expecting it.
+Malachy Gilmour. Sorry to hear that man, I know there's too many people that care so much about whether someone is male, female, non-binary or anything else. It's like you're still the same person and my parents said they just cared about my happiness, everyone needs to be like that. At least she's getting a little better, there's hope there. My Nan's slips up on my pronouns a lot, names fine but it's just pronouns. She corrects herself when she remembers or I just stay silent and look at her and she realises and corrects herself haha, it's a gentle silent reminder.
I think we;re some folks are to hung up on whats what with the LGBTQ community it doesn't matter as long as the person is happy within themselves many people learn to hate when really they should learn to love instead. sometimes a gentle remember is all thats needed!
+Malachy Gilmour. Yeah, sucks that anything that doesn't affect you, in any way other than having to say a different name or someone bringing a different gendered partner home, can make people so hateful. Yeah, I let her off cause she is 60 this year so like elderly perk hah.
+Mark Apud Yeah, I suppose taking time to think about it and research and things is better than coming out, starting to transition and then realising it's not what you want to do y'know?
It's been just over a year since I came out to my parents too. Really awesome that you have such an amazing family! :D

yeah bro the struggle was real . . . before I came out... I really went from a very long journey before I decided to come out as a transman
