I believe a large portion of players in Z rank are ragequitters, since their rank doesn't go down if they quit every game they lose. If you never rage quit and can only complete games where people don't ragequit, then most likely your rank is only going to go down overall. They absolutely need to address this issue, and give some sort of penalty to DCers. Obviously the "finish rate" doesn't do anything.

I don't get why so many people rage at giants. Pick better teams that are well rounded and giants are a non factor. The game in ranked isn't about picking only the characters you like but also picking characters that can cover the weaknesses for them as well. For example I love Z Broly as he is a strong pick and can cover low cost characters weaknesses to giants. While also being a solid pick against high cost characters. You basically need characters that can stun lock the giants on every hit to make them 100% ineffective. Though you don't need to start those characters in their top forms to use them either. Use your DP wisely!
Just remember ranked doesn't start when you find the opponent, but when you pick your team. The same goes for nearly every other competitive game out there that has team based comps.
There's so much counter play to giants,as a giant user myself I made sure to lab against them, they are so exploitable if u know what your doing but instead of learning the matchup and getting better, ppl ratherjust quit and give up

They should implement a "forfeit" option. That way the Rage Quitters can end the match and move on to the next one and you still gain the rank points. Also make the loss of points greater for those who forfeit over those who stick the battle out.

Dp battles are unplayable. Im a father with a 9-5 so my playing time is limited. Just sucks that after i learn to counter the cheese, they just rq. Its so frustrating. I played like 15 matches and im like 1-3 because the other 11 matches, I'm winning but they just quit
Mate I know your close to z rank but believe me take a day off don't think about the game I get like this in competitive games that are in this state best thing to do step away and when you come back try to find something you enjoy other then ranked if there's nothing you enjoy other then ranked well .y advice may not be the best I haven't finished watching yet so if you hit the rank congrats if not good luck man
You can also filter by ragequit %. Usually in tekken i keep that at a max of 5% to account for possible shitty net people. I do the same here and its pretty consistent in avoiding ragequitters. But yeah, blocking people on steam works too
