Should we use silicone to glue the drain into the exhausted floor pipe or it must be loose, please? Is that OK if it`s installed flash to the back wall with no floor tiling behind of the drain, or it can be dangerous with a possible leakages? Thank you
I personally would not put silicone on the pipe . If water does get underneath the drain it will need somewhere to go. I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t put the drain at the back wall ive seen this done many times 👍
Like alot of the commenters, im also here to see if there is a flange install for linear drains, the actual connection install rather than the tile leveling aspect hahaha. But nice tips, cheers.
Is there a puddle flange under that please?
where the puddle flange at bruh ?

Can I use a shower grate for bathroom waste. Shower grate is 80mm but the floor waste is 100mm ?
But how to waterproof the rough install?
That's why I came here, as soon as.. the grout fails all the water goes down a level? A grate seems so sketchy..
I wanted to see how to seal the grate
Nice tiling job, what area in Vic do you cover?
