- Tiger Woods wins for the fourth time at Firestone Country Club, marking the 5th win of his season and his 9th World Golf Championships title.
Tiger Woods' chase for Sam Snead's record of 82 PGA TOUR wins began at the 1996 Las Vegas Invitational, his first TOUR win in just his fifth professional start. Over 20 years later Woods' excellence has seen him raise a trophy in six countries and 16 different American states.

Seems like every time Tiger wears the mock turtleneck, good things happen.
lol. i was thinking the same thing at this years masters rd 2 and 3.
The year was 2005, Tiger had already set and broken dozens of records, yet the commentators doubted him the whole time. Incredible!

Tiger has always been criticized for stupid things:
When all long hitters "dip" during their downswing its not a problem, but when Tiger does it its bad.
When every pro golfer works out the gym its to prolong their career and stay healthy its good! When Tiger does it, he's on steroids and its bad.
That's the difference in greatness! Tiger would have been on the driving range or putting green while waiting! Or maybe Chris just knew that there was no need!
He knew! They all knew at that point in time! Tiger would just somehow hole a put when he needed it the most... Later in his career not so much, but from 1999-2009, pretty much a guarantee!

I saw Tiger yesterday and his face was all bloated - he looked like he's 10 years older than he is; maybe the medications he's on...
