World’s hardest golf course. How so? When Tiger shot 12 under at Pebble Beach in the U.S. open and next was 3 over, I think the other players would say that was the hardest course in the world.
Young Tiger clips never get old. As soon as he got it clicking, every commentator around the world was reduced to just being one of us, a fan who was running out of words to describe how great he was. (Also, the amount of money you could make just betting half your net worth on Tiger for every WGC up to 2009 would be crazy to think about.)
Thank you so much for uploading this. Are you able to find and upload Tigers first international win in Thailand at the Johnnie Walker? That’s got to be one of the hardest courses in the world (Blue Canyon GC)
Ridiculous golf. Tiger was beyond anything anyone had ever seen. I remember watching this live on gc. Early morning. The cool British announcers. It was so cool to know you were watching history.
I don’t know but he is -4 in the final round so maybe they consider that to make this the hardest course . Which I don’t agree with them saying it the hardest course
@@nikgatmaytan You are incorrect. This video is the final round of the WGC American Express Championship on November 7, 1999. It is the only time that Tiger Woods won at Valderrama. Tiger Woods was coached by Butch Harmon from 1993 to 2004. Mike Weir won the tournament at Valderama in 2000. The tournament was never held at Valderama again.
344 yard drive with a Titleist pt/970 wood with steel x100 shaft - loved that club. No one could do that but him
I love how “European Tour” is blurred out and “DP World Tour” is inserted.
But remember, Saudi money bad according to everyone.
This version was the GOAT....aura, swing was smooth yet aggressive, putting was insane...I can watch this guy forever!!
The level of golf this dude reached is so absurdly good it’s ridiculous
I don't think we'll ever see as good a golfer as Tiger again in my lifetime...
Give me 8-9 months.

Wow, the course, weather, artistry, triple on 17, playoff hole, the scowl & putter raise, everything is just legendary @TW!

Worlds hardest?? How have you come to figure this out and by what metrics??

1999 British Open at Carnoustie was the hardest course bar none
Imagine if Tiger had a Paradym driver back then lol
Tiger in his prime
does anyone know what year this was?
99
...missed the time when the Elder Wand still looks new...
What was his swing speed during his prime? I'm guessing around 130mph
Yeah I'm betting 127-137 ish. Because he was consistently carrying the ball 310-340 with trash balls lol.
Oh..begitu caranya
Wow he looks really good can’t even tell he was ever in a wreck if he wins again this week it’ll be back to back both leagues baby
Be nice if y'all told us what year this took place, either on-screen or in the video description. My mom told me to stop whining and Google it.
Nov 7, 1999 WGC-American Express Championship
1999?
Based on the swing probably 2000 maybe 2001. His backswing isn’t as crossed as it was in 99, so this is the early stage of the Butch era
