Some people mentioned that our Singapore army can recruit different race compared to Malaysia. You Malaysian forget that, we have 2 years NS. Conscripted since the beginning. Your PES status, Your Vocation, Your rank has already been decided from the start. It is not like we go recruitment and volunteer to choose to go into that particular vocation. Even until now, Commando or Naval Diver regular there are malays but either mixed blood or those that have high profile. That only happens once in a decade.
You might say every intake got one malay, you forget that is NS, not regular. They just learned Basic Infantry Tactics and additional skills like rope reppelling and static parachuting, that's all. Where got NSF 2 years go for MFF or go for SFSC or go for Pathfinder Course or VBSS or Demolition Course? None.

It’s a meme, the sense of humour required to understand memes in general doesn’t cater to all audiences which is why memes can be controversial at times when part of the public audience doesn’t understand it. In this case, he isn’t being made fun of, he’s part of a running joke where he is made to always be the bigger and better party even in impossible situations which is a sign of respect because he isn’t the joke, it’s everyone else in the joke because Imran is just the best and always wins while the other party always loses to Imran.
