- Come with me as I create a prong set ring for a cushion cut Smokey Quartz! This is my first time attempting cathedral shoulders like this. I have an upcoming project for a cushion cut moissanite that I was using this ring as a prototype for.
As a self taught metal/silversmith, I am constantly trying to push myself to do more and try harder techniques. Some of what you see me do might not be “right” from a classically taught jeweler’s point of view but I am very happy with how this ring came out so I don’t think my technique is “wrong.” But I definitely have a lot to learn!!
So excited to share my next creation with you!!
With love,
🤍Vanessa🤍
BEAUTIFUL work as always Vanessa! I can’t wait to see you learn pave one day! I know you will! 🎉
Thank you soooo much 🤍🤍🤍 one day… 🤞🏼🙏🏼
Very very pretty 😊
Thank you very much 🥰
It already looks amazing 🤩👏👏👏 What’s amazing, it’s how much work, patience and knowledge, it requires to create this beautiful jewelry 👏👏👏(I’m talking about the people who are creating hand made jewelry).
Thank you very much 🥰🥰🥰 I’m very happy to be able to keep pushing myself to better my technique ✨and I really appreciate when people notice ❤️❤️❤️ thank you!!
Pepe tools has a ball vice now its a lot cheaper than GRS and I really like mine!
I was actually looking at vevor.com because they have a phenomenally priced ball vice… I just haven’t bitten the bullet yet and purchased it 🫣😅
Love your personality and your work. Was that a diamond bur you used to bur out the corners of inside the bezel? ❤
Thank you very much ☺️☺️ I used a round bur on the prong and under bezel ✨
you have such nice hair
Thank you very much 🥹🫶🏼
