Isaac Albéniz, Granada, Davide Furlanetto, piano

Isaac Manuel Francisco Albéniz (Camprodon, 29 May 1860 - Cambo-les-Bains, 18 May 1909) was a Spanish composer and pianist, considered among the greatest exponents of his national school.

Granada is a piano composition by Isaac Albéniz, the opening piece from his 1886 work Suite Española No. 1. It was premiered by the composer on 24 January 1886.
Originally written for piano, since being transcribed for guitar by Miguel Llobet, it has become one of the most important works of the classical guitar repertoire.
Davide Furlanetto Born in Bolzano in '75, he graduated with top marks in piano and "cum laude" in chamber music, studying with A.Bambace, V. Pavarana, F.Righini and R. Zadra, P.Masi and B.Lupo . He now plays exclusively as an accompanist at the conservatories of Padua and, in the past, of Rovigo, as well as at various master classes and competitions; as a chamber musician he played with: L.Simoncini, C. Orlando, L. Lucchetta, A. Teavaglini, P. Brunello, M.Rogliano, S. Mead, L.Paccagnella, G. Trimboli and others. In 2003 he obtained a diploma in acoustics and tuning at the Rovigo conservatory with A. Montalbano and at the same time carries out activities as a tuner and repairer. Every now and then he enjoys playing some short solo pieces for friends.
Davide Furlanetto
Nato a Bolzano nel '75, si diploma col massimo dei voti in pianoforte e "cum laude" in musica da camera, studiando con A.Bambace, V. Pavarana, F.Righini e R. Zadra, P.Masi e B.Lupo. Suona ormai esclusivamente come accompagnatore presso i conservatori di Padova e, in passato, di Rovigo, oltre che presso varie master class e concorsi; come camerista ha suonato con: L.Simoncini, C. Orlando, L. Lucchetta, A. Teavaglini , P. Brunello, M.Rogliano, S. Mead, L.Paccagnella, G. Trimboli ed altri. Nel 2003 ottiene il Diploma in acustica ed accordatura presso il conservatorio di Rovigo con A. Montalbano e svolge parallelamente attività di accordatore e riparatore. Ogni tanto si diverte a suonare per amici qualche breve brano solistico.
