Harddrive working without cover - Defragging, formatting, file transfer etc

2 Platters, 4 Heads and 4 Phillips screws to remove the cover (lol)
This is a Hard-drive on death row.
In the video you can see various read\write operations, including a full format!
I also undertake some intuitive data writing ;)

A single molecule of dust can ruin a modern hard-drive. Data Densities of modern hard-drive's are truly epic. Just not on this one as it's not... er.. modern.
This is the reason why this harddrive went for quite a while in video without just giving up. It also wasn't the first time I had opened it. I had done so about 4 times prior to shooting this video.
