Stayed in Melbourne for 2 months and 1 month in the Wellington area. I have friends living there, so stayed with them,.. and yes, its more to your country than the Hobbits..lol...
sam talked about having auditioned for lord of the rings, and i’m assuming he was probably up for the role of glorfindel (the elf who actually rescues frodo in the books) but the movie changed it to arwen doing it hence cutting that character out…now i’m wondering how many other script revisions were done for the lotr trilogy

Enjoyed this interview! I had to Google Hedonism Hotel/resorts. LOL. He was blushing when talking about them and nude hotels/beaches. Would be fascinating to go there and see famous people,including Sam!

Very entertaining and laid back...👍👍👍 In Sam Heughan's book 'Waypoints' you get an inside view of how polite he is when recognized on a nature hike when aproached by a fan...the fan was not too much, and Sam was friendly and respectful...but get it - on how exhausting it may be to be run after everywhere you go. Obviously there are circles, and there are circles...many people would not infringe on anothers personal time, as he is very receptive and super nice to fans. But we all need our own lives...
