The smoothness of his pivot, such that he can pump fake and spin, then spin again if the first pump fake didn't get his defender in the air. Plus a whole lot more.
He was pretty strong though. I sat courtside for a game against the hawks. Mchale and Kevin Willis (great player too) battled all night. I mean battled hard.. elbows, pushing.. you don’t realize how physical it is till you see a game live.
I used to hate that ugly ass, no form having, below the rim, frankenstein half facing jump hook. He used to kill my Pistons with that. He didn't have a great vertical, but his long arms and ability to play through contact gave him a chance to still be offensively creative.
sorry man, after 3 yrs of your post, nothing change on D12. Let alone Howard got help from Olajuwon too, still didn't make any difference.. I guess some are just overpay but they don't have a courage or passion for the basketball. It's a risk signing D12 with max contract
