Dude I’m so hyped to get my xbox series s, coming from a pc player, pc was only good if u built it your self and had the money , but this small budget gaming device is a beast!
You just gained a brand new Subscriber because of the indepth nformation about the Xbox Series S Console. Thank you so much. I can't wait to play mine...got it for Christmas 😇😇😇
First off I have to say I love that you already own Goat Simulator. Thanks for the video, I watched it in anticipation of the arrival of my Series S. This will certainly help with what I need to know/do once it arrives. The game downloads seem to take a while, so start that first then move on to the other settings and customizations seems a good idea. Again thanks for making/posting the video.
A Playstation guy since the beginning, made the switch to the Series S (my first Microsoft console) and opted not to get a PS5.. No regrets whatsoever. Im almost embarrassed to admit I wasn't aware of Gamepass until I looked into it last year. The value in that service is incredible and growing. With my 4tb Seagate external storage, Series S and gamepass, im all set.
@@StephenHelwigTalksTech Agreed.. Microsoft is on the come up in a massive way. Its a sign of great leadership and a team that saw the potential of what could be many years down the line and having the backing to go all in. Phil Spencer had to convince higher ups to not throw in the towel on Xbox.. I could only wonder the plans he revealed that completely turned them around to investing more than ever to the brand. We're just seeing the beginning.
I just ordered mine, so excited, it will be my first Xbox ever. But kinda disappointing that the tape takes off some of the box, cause I like to keep the box and put it on display. But still excited!
Loved your video, I just got an Xbox s, the others were too pricey, plus, I'm not an expert on gaming..I'm a beginner..so this was great...About how many games can you put on before you have to get additional storage? Brian Frederick, MD.
Hey Brian, so glad you enjoyed it. That really depends on the games. Many of the modern open world games are huge, like 100GB in size. I ended up purchasing an external hard drive to store additional games.
Stephen, thank you for your response...A couple other questions...what the best external storage to get in your opinion...and is it better to have a monitor that's just meant for gaming, and my TV is older than ten years old : at least the one in my bedroom is..What do you think the best games for exercising?
@@brianparket5548 the most performant option for a drive is the storage expansion card by Seagate. However it cost $200 and was too pricey for me. The option I went with is the official external drive by Seagate which cost $80. However, not all games can run on the external drive, so you may need to shift games back and forth. www.bestbuy.com/site/sku/6473669.p?skuId=6473669 As for the monitor vs tv, I suggest a TV for the vast majority of people. A 10 year old tv will work, but certainly a more modern tv would be better. It's all about your budget. Either way you can start enjoying on day 1.
@Stephen Helwig Talks Tech Stephen ..thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions. I appreciate it. I have already found out that I can actually only hold about 3 or 4 games on it..I had about 9 qued..But every 2 seconds it was asking me to free up space..When I can do the external drive, I will certainly take your advice. As for the TV, the TV is probably fine, it's our internet provider Verizon that cuts out every 2 seconds..You can't even watch a program in it entirety without a million streaming issues..You're very blessed to have good internet service..
So you can install about 5 to max 6 games on it. So the extra memory is more a must then. But i'm really down to have this console.. I only have the first xbox from Microsoft. I will wait until chrismas sale..
Yeah, I'm running into the limits already after installing a few major titles. Don't expect the console to go on sale any time soon. They are still almost impossible to find.
I just purchased one Friday from amazon and i can honestly say it’s a joy! the graphics are amazing and it’s super smooth but there are many downsides such as lack of space and lack of a disc drive meaning that most of the time you won’t be able to play old 360 games or you won’t be able to play most xbox one games if you bought a disc but other than that for the price it’s unbeatable but i’d like to point out the storage expansion thing also it’s 220$ to get 1TB of storage which would put you over the regular price of getting a better and more powerful xbox series x that’s another downside of it
I think the storage space is the only downside so far for me. Games have just gotten so big nowadays that 5 or 6 games can eat up the entire 500GB. However, the price of 1TB drives has come down considerably, so I might splurge for one in the near future.
Honestly I use cheap $15 capture cards I found on Amazon. Use it for both my camera and game feed. I'll be doing a home office video in about a week. Make sure to subscribe. www.amazon.com/dp/B08H8J5WV3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_3I04FbS5Q2GXE

Yes. Xbox One X us the previous generation. The new generation is the Series X and S. The Series X is the most powerful in the Xbox lineup.
should i buy series s + one 512gb ssd external?
It really just depends on how many games you're going to install. I don't think it's a pressing need as soon as you buy it.
