This game just looks so beautiful, I’ll be 50 years old and they could’ve figured out face scans and putting us into the pokemon game and this will still be such a beautiful game to look at
Penguin supremacy!! Seriously this might be the last ever time that a PSR world record is set with a different Pokemon from the existing record. I'm not aware of any game/category where there's any real debate over what the fastest Pokemon is.
Being able to see chat is an interesting change, but I’ll miss the moments of hearing Werster ranting like a schizo and only being able to imagine what kinds of opinions he’s arguing with in those moments
One of the things I don't understand in the modern Pokemon games is how they've totally done away with proper rivals/enemy teams. I feel like the side plots have been weak for several gens now, the enemy teams have been downhill ever since gen 5. I tend to agree the peak Era was Platinum, HGSS, and BW2, these were the best pure Pokemon games ever made. They even managed to mess up the gen 4 remakes by not putting in most of what made gen 4 good that was in Platinum, and that part doesn't even make sense. The gen 1 and 2 remakes over a decade ago realised to not just directly port the original with no changes, yet that's pretty much what they did for the gen 4 remakes. Even the laziness argument doesn't make much sense for that one, as surely it would have been the same amount of effort to port Platinum than it would have Diamond and Pearl. Modern Pokemon still doesn't really seem to have established what it wants to be. They've gone to open world, but I almost feel it worked better with closed routes, a lot of the core gameplay doesn't work in open world, in particular I don't think they've really come up with a solution to HM's, which were generally just used as a way to keep areas out of access before they wanted you to access them. I don't think the you can go where you like of the latest games really works, and the worlds are almost too vast that they feel barren.
Setting the world record on the anniversary of Platinum's release is so cool.
On his first run too
World record on platinum’s birthday and first run of the day, da goat.
Soul SIlver Any% Glitchless on Heracross Day and Platinum Any% Glitchless on Platinum's 16th anniversary! GG! Shoutout to the optional trainer.

Hey kids! Don't sleep during a Werster stream otherwise you'll shit yourself awake from the screaming! 😊
This might be my new favorite Werster rage omg 😂
The Fantina rage from a bit ago woke me up when I was listening to it as background noise.

obligatory chat about the decline of Pokemon as a franchise at the start of every WR run lol
LOL I opened the stream in the first few minutes and though "nah no way" and now it's the world record 🤣 classic... Congrats!
Congrats dude, HBD Platinum!

Congratulations you beat the record. 😀😄😊

Do you update every wr title every single time there's a new wr? That's impressive.
He probably would only need to update the last WR every time, since the past ones would already be titled "old WR"
You fucking legend congrats dude

Had my friend say that he hardly noticed any performance issues when playing Gen 9. I was very surprised.
