I‘m kinda sad that you won’t continue running Diamond for now. You had so many good runs killed by randomness (I specifically remember one where you were almost 2 minutes ahead, then die to a thrash Crit from Gyarados, because of how far ahead you were, you wanted to walk back after whiting out, forgot taking a Pokemon out of your Party and running into a double battle). Kinda sad to see the double Ball-Fail be the one to make it through. I really hope to see you back in this category soon.

You just ran through the grass and there was no pokemon? Has it something to do with that thing you did at the starg, where you were crossing thr borders between twinleaf amd the route?
I am pretty sure he skips the encounters through rng manipulation which depends on the frame that you are on, so he runs between those to advance the rng to where he doesnt get encounters
I’ve never seen Werster sweat, but it felt like he was sweating this run from Spear Pillar to the end. Can’t say I blame him, I mean 11 seconds is close. Congrats on the record, even though I’m late. You should try solidifying this one though because there are a lot of little improvements you can make to beat your WR by potentially another minute
I got diamond near when I came out. I beat it at 400+hours because i pressed A too fast and couldnt find Wally to go to the lakes and continue. It wasn't until years later I finally picked up the game and found him beating the game after years
