Thank you po sa critique. The lady who taught us went to school to learn folk dance under Ramon Obusan fundamentals. Very raw and authentic. However, we had to stage it in a huge venue so we had live singers sing on the side. We are volunteers and most are born and raised in the US so just starting to learn about the language/dialect, culture and the rawness of ethnic dances. This performance was our 2nd year since the group started and we are woking on ways to improve and be more authentic.
The red band on the head is called putong. We made those ourselves using old towels and news papers. It's easy to custom make so it fits your head perfectly to balance the baskets or banga with.
I'm sorry, maybe the dance depicted the story of the song? The song meant "Intaku man o-omos- Let's take a bath *Meant maybe in a river near by*" But we don't dance like that. :) Just saying. We have so many types of dances, like Tuppaya, il-La-od, Tajok, etc but I've never seen this kind of dance anywhere in Kalinga or Mountain Province( I've said this because the beads and 'tapis' looks like it is from CAR and I was born there- danced our dances)

Its called dikin. Made up of news paper and red cloth
Pwede po pahingi ng lyrics ng folk song po nayan?
you shouldve consulted the right tribe to get an authentic garb and authentic dance. Don't reinvent the wheel
You got this wrong. Kalinga women never dance like that kind.
It's a folk song I think
