I want to listen to this kind of music in live performance once in my life.
I already did it it was awesome
You will be glad you did🌷
I hope you do! The experience is radically different - so much more color and brilliance, besides feeling the vibration of the music on one's chest.
Seeing this live for the First changed my life
Swan Lake was the first ballet I saw live in London 1970, it changed my life
Does anyone cry a bit too much listening to this? I swear I have great mental health (lately) but Tchaikovsky has been making me cry for YEARS
Absolutely! Brings me so much joy 💜
Never been able to make it through without crying. It is just breathtaking.
@@rachelmmurray woow, we're not alone then. I always liked to go to concerts alone bc of shame 🤣🤣
Same
@@lelemsaysDon't be ashamed of crying just let it all out.
love the guy yelling in the applause. he's fired up. awesome song.
It’s a piece not a song
@@duongnguyenngoc9160 pedantic
@@duongnguyenngoc9160 we all know what was meant - chill and enjoy the music ❤️
5:17, the moment that all of us, ballet dancers, we have the best feeling, and a tear comes down.
Everyone cried when it was played in St. Petersburg for the first time. And it's still the same.
Wow 💜
Great, but the French Horns must get their tone.
I could listen to this all day. Best rendition of Swan Lake Finale on the Internet.
True. Tchaikovsky would have loved this.
i dont know why its the best interpretation, but god how i love it
@@Naim11443 Difficult to explain for me. It just has this...raw and passionate drive that I don't feel in other performances.
@@raymundolucero5735 I'm on the right end in the last row of violas and we would all get goosebumps playing this in rehearsal and in the performance. Maestro Kalam made sure we understood the story behind the music and we tried our best to bring out all those emotions. I'm so proud to have been a part of it and I'm thrilled so many people enjoyed it then and now!!
In fact, I think Tchaikovsky would turn in his grave. The performance lacks subtlety, the conductor only knows loud and soft. If an instrument can make a loud sound, then he pounds the shit out of it. [Pardon my 'French', but it just flowed]. However, I know the thrill of being in an orchestra like this. The experience outweighs any thoughts toward producing a great performance. You do the best you can, and enjoy the experience.
Por que tu eres yo y yo soy tu!!!!
Y no hay nadie para salvarnos ;v
Migala.que gran elección musical.
One of the best versions I’ve heard. Phenomenal.
The especial moment in the finale is (around 4.30. here) when the strings, representing the stricken in grief signets, seem to lose their mind as it were. Magical moment.
Perfection
Fantastic performance
i lost my other account, that i had all my playlist, i lost this beauty. Now i can listen to this piece all day again, wonderfull the work of the musicians.
Thanks! I had the privilege to play viola for this specific performance and I can tell you we absolutely loved performing it. We had a particularly strong symphony this year and I think it shows. I remember several audience members coming up to us after saying they cried during the finale. The last 45 seconds gave me goosebumps every time I played it and I know a lot of the other members felt the same way. We tried to channel those emotions into our playing so I appreciate the postivity!!
@@kevinorro1 yeah definitely I can feel all of your emotions, I listened a lot this piece when my father passed away, I didn’t understand why this one interpretation was the best lol, a nice way to channel all the strong emotions
Do people still cry hearing this. I do.
5:37 French Horns! Noo... do not do this with me
I thought I was the only one who noticed sksksks
This music is everything.
Fantastic

Genial
So Lovely ritmic and strong. Goose skin !!! Truly a marvellous interpretation...
The finales ends in 4 death, white and black twingled together.... but the music stays with you...french horns extra, over the original score...but..indulgence, in the this gorgeous finale....I will added to my finales collection.
This is beautiful and whenever I listen this I feel thanks for everything
2:42 Amazing part just start
This is some Finale..ROCKING.....
Breath taking. Wish I had found this video sooner.
A fired-up audience...with great reason! Love it all!
Nostalgia de mi adolescencia. Diario lo oía. En qué momento deje de escuchar la música clásica?
2:58 Damn that's good music right there.
As a child, I could see the imagery! Most epic, haunting, emotive piece ever! 💕⭐️
Magistral. Es inenarrable es sentimiento que produce.
A beautifull piece and a wonderfull performance.
Thank you for the upload.
This piece stirs my soul. Wow wow wow!!!!!!!!
Ok this is a damn good sounding university orchestra. Usually you can instantly tell that it’s an amateur orchestra but this one sounds fantastic.
What an amazing song! I wonder what Tchaikovsky was thinking when he composed this song.
It's not a fucking song
lashachika excited
It’s a piece!!!!!
A song is something you sing. It's not your fault you misuse the word. The way music gets streamed to listeners, an orchestral exerpt has got to be classed as a 'song' to fit into the system of libraries of music. It's great that you've discovered this music (despite all the positive comments, I note that many apparently come from people new to 'classical' music), although this performance is as unsubtle as a brick.
@@bryangl1 Thanks for your explanation. I am not a native English speaker that's why I mis use the word.
Wow, you guys nailed it.
So much emotions. Amazing performance
What a stunning performance
Unbelievable.
The best I’ve heard
What a triumph. Maestro must have been so proud.
I was one of the violists in this performance. By far my favorite orchestral moment. Especially the end of the finale. That haunting chord progression gave me chills as I was playing. My mom was in the balcony and she said almost everyone was tearing up. What an epic piece
@@kevinorro1 you rock.
Goodness this is divine!
¡¡¡Que bello!!!
C'est beau, c'est vraiment beau.
Truly appreciate it.
Beautiful music ❤️🎻❤️ Thank you very much 🌹
Absolutely stunning.
Absolutamente magnifico, pura harmonia! Desperta todos os nossos sentidos. E se tudo fosse assim na vida?! Parabéns pela publicação.
Good music swan lake
Magnifique! I love the harmonies and tempo at the beginning... Makes it a fresh yet magnificent version of this masterpiece!
Also at the end!
Simplemente espectacular
on the wide shot looking at all the cellists doing vibrato at the same time looks pretty funny
5:37 fico arrepiada demais 🖤
Te entiendo, a mí también, es algo no sé qué tiene una sola nota de trompas al unísono....
Eyes always seem to get misty when I hear this!!!!

i don't know why tchaikovsky didn't like this song😦
Because he never compose a song, this is a PIECE!!!!!!
A stunning conclusion to Tchaikovsky's ballet -- drawn out as if concluding a 4-movement symphony, played as well as a professional orchestra. This is how the work should end. Musically Bolshoi's "alternate" quiet and tragic ending (which I saw on Fathom today) doesn't work, although it seems politically motivated to protest what Putin is doing to Russia.
Beginning was way too fast.
french horns wtf at the end....
MOUAIS...
Je ne suis pas très enthousiaste
Des faiblesses au pupitre des bois, et les cors me blessent l'oreille, limite du couac.
Playing this in the US these days could be taken as Russian meddling in US elections.
Too fast
The horns are terrible
the performance of the orchestra is very bad.. Swan lake.
l une des plus beaux musiques sur terre. FABULEUX
