Winter Choir Song - "Winter Dreams" by Pinkzebra feat. iSing Silicon Valley Girlchoir

- Here is my brand new choral song, "Winter Dreams." It is a beautiful and peaceful song about daydreaming of beautiful winter scenes, falling snow, and memories.
Commissioned by the iSing Silicon Valley Girlchoir, this song will be performed at their December concert this year. This recording captures their wonderful performance, led by artistic directors and co-founders, Shane Troll and Jennah Delp-Somers.
The choral sheet music will be available via jwpepper.com in the spring of 2018.

This song was sung by my school's 8th grade choir and for I do say it is an emotionally beautiful song. It is majestic and gentle yet emotional in words. I end up in tears by the singers lyrics of feeling the freedom and magic of winter as a child. I have been in love with this song the day I heard it performed. A wonderful piece I shall enjoy forever. ❄️
Wow im about to sing it in my winter choir
When i was in 6th grade my choir, we did a song called Fly away home, by pinkzebra. The other choir did one called we don't stop dreaming or something like that. and bothe choirs loved the song. Now My choir is doing winter dreams and the other choir is doing another winter song by Pinkzebra. My favorite par about this song is " I can see the fields" and so on. I just love this song!!

Ever since we sung this song in my junior high choir, it has been my favorite song in the world. I constantly think of it and just now got around to find it again. It has so much nostalgia for me and it made me cry a bit to listen again.

I am IN LOVE WITH THIS SONG
In September, my choir did another one of Pink Zebra’s songs, which I don’t remember the name of, but it was really upbeat and hard to keep up with in the beginning, but for the winter concert we are doing this song and we have it down the first week we picked it up. I’m so in love with the enchanted feeling this song gives off. I’m not sure how I feel with the beginning ‘ooo’s for my choir, as it’s difficult for the timing, but I’m sure we will get it. Thank you for this song!

there has been several days that i've second guessed my choir. the biggest thing that i did was listened to when my part came in and wrote down on my music. i'm not sure if your director let's you but ours let's us write whatever helps us. i would take some time and just see if you can point out where your part is and possibly share a new technique with your section. this may help or not:)

Oof, I remember singing this song (being the only 1st alto I didn't have any backup on my part) and hating it. My school has iPad music instead of music on paper, and I remember zooming in on the picture of the tree and using the edit option to draw a little stick figure hanging from the tree. My fellow altos thought it was hilarious. The sopranos were disturbed. Tenors and basses all loved it 😂

I would DEFINATELY suggest getting string instruments for any songs your choirs are doing, for all of the concerts I've performed with them the one's with the instruments are always a favorite! It changes it up a bit!, and the audience (and judges ;) really eat it up.

Yeah, actually ever since my high school choir did that song in 2019 it’s been a personal favorite. I don’t blame you for loving it so much. Literally every time I hear it now that we’ve done it I Sing Along!. I wasn’t involved in the particular choir that performed it. I was in a higher level of choir. But, I was sitting on the risers when they did this and I just thought it was the most beautiful song I had ever heard.
We preformed this at my chir concert for the winter concert and i sang alto and it was really pretty and my favorite part was the i can see the feilds i used to run and play and so on

Hey PinkZebra. What is your policy on videos of your copyrighted works going up on TH-cam? Hal Leonard wants me to buy a license every three years from now until I get tired of paying. If my goal is to make a permanent record of a moment my children, audience and I had together, that is counter productive. I would love to do this piece but am going to be picky about repertoire to avoid the copyright police from fining me a few years down the road. My choir posts many of our performances on TH-cam. I love your work!
