I used to think the same way as you, questioning the high price. It's one of the reasons why I have avoided it for many years. But after doing it to myself at home for the first time, I realized why profession charge as much as they do. The treatment takes hours of meticulous work. I did it myself once for the first time I've never done it before. I have afro curly hair and started at 7:00 p.m., and didn’t finish until 11:00 p.m. I was absolutely exhausted by the end I could barely after neutralizing it, do a blowout again and straighten it one more time but I did. It’s not just about the product or the fact that it permanently straightens your hair; the real cost comes from the time and effort it takes to get it done right.
I did this in brasil a few days ago. I have wavy hair in the ends that tends to look extremly frizzy.. so i think this will last me a really really long time ❤ i only paid 90€ for it including colouring and cut.
@@TerezaTichackovado the curls hold the whole day though? Like do you need to add extra hair products to hold or is it more like a natural straight hair that you can style anyway you like?
I have watched your video like 4 times now 🤣 I've been contemplating this for about a year. I have very fine slavic hair as well, undyed and untreated. You look like you have a very similar texture to me! I've been wondering for so long now, did you notice more split ends at all? Did the quality of your hair noticeably get worse? Or would you say you didn't really notice a change?
I’m really considering this! but if I were to get it done just once, during the grow out months do you think it would be okay to straighten the half that is curled. I straighten my hair twice a week already, so would this be any different (like damage, and growing time span wise)
You can do anything to the hair that has been treated 😊 there’s just products to avoid but regarding that you’re better off asking your hairstylist about that 😊
Like the other commenter said there are loads, my personal recommendation is Hairlux Soho. They have a treatment called kerafusion which is very very similar to Japanese straightening but slightly cheaper. I’ve had it done 4 times now and each time it lasts around 6 months. I’m actually getting it redone tomorrow lol. Highly recommend Hairlux Soho the hairdresser Chiena is amaaazing at what she does
I am running into your videos after such a long time!, nice you're still active trying stuff

That’s a steal, happy for you 🥲
Where in brazil did you go?
Sorry this might a dumb question but can you still curl your hair afterwards with a hot hair curler or your hair rollers or hot hair rollers?
Yes of course, I do it all the time 😊

Good question
I know someone who had it done and her hair was straight and stayed that way.
Yes, I noticed that and I think the product might’ve been on there too long when it should maybe be only on the ends a short period of time.
Hi so I have frizzy wavy hair that gets puffy does this help tame any of that?
yes it will help get rid of frizziness 😊
Thanks! What if we just bought the product and did it ourselves, is it possible?
once you start the treatment, can you stop? how will it look when growing out?
Of course you can stop 😆 it doesn’t look the best growing out (the curlier your natural hair, the worse it’ll look), but it’s survivable :)
How are you liking your hair now? Like how is it now compared to when you first got it. The part that received the treatment.
I’ve since gotten 3 more touch ups and I’m very happy still 😊

Does someone have any experience with a hair dresser that does Japanese hair straightening in London?
In LONDON? There are hundreds of salons that offer keratin or Japanese hair straightening there.
