Saints secondary was suspect, their whole game is not to get beat deep. They had to keep the Safeties close to the line because Dalvin Cook tore off some great runs in the first half. The Vikings went for the deep shots when the Saints safeties were in close.

Hill is a specialist and change of pace guy for the Saints. I don’t know how well he would have been as the QB the entire game. But he was definitely their best option today.
How many times have you seen Hill run the offense, excluding gadget plays? He's the third string QB for a reason. If anything they should have let Teddy get some snaps. But how can you bench a player like Brees with so much at stake?

I wish to see a day where the browns, lions, cardinals, and especially Falcons all win a super bowl. In only 54 years of its existence, the majority of the teams have already won the super bowl. Double that and eventually every team will have won it. Even if I'm dead by the time we win it, I wouldn't care, because I would already know the victory would be inevitable. Saying that a franchise is dead is simply false unless they are run by an utterly incompetent and corrupt businessman, which Arthur Blank isn't.

That's how I feel about a lot of "bad call" situation games. Like bad calls are made all the time. Including at the beginning of a game. Don't those matter just as much? But you're right, a team shouldn't be in a position to let the refs decide. If you were truly better, then it wouldn't matter

He will make all the standard throws, he doesn't throw to the other team, and he hangs on the the damn ball. What more do you want? I'll take a 110 passer rating with around 4000 yards and 25-30 TD's a season every time.
The last throw to Thielen in Overtime should convince you he can throw deep. His only problem is that he can't throw consistently under extreme pressure. Guess what? There are very few QB's that can. Kirk loves throwing it deep; he is a playaction QB to the core, and I respect that.
