It's really hard to describe listening to this song as somebody who grew up with zelda. There's a bunch of different themes that play at various points - with the dragonroost island theme most significant of them. It's like watching memories of all of these exciting times from the past coming back to fight alongside you. Instantly transporting you back to the kid you were 20 years ago.

It's an underrated soundtrack overall. This tune gets a ton of love, and it deserves it. But it's not the only tune that makes the soundtrack great. I would argue each of the dungeon tunes build up to standout musical works by their final phase. Lightning Temple is my favorite for vibes alone, although perhaps not the best in composition. Although short, the music that plays during the tower activation launch sequence captures my soul each time. The Thunderhead isles music. Tarrey Town again, and the "House" music, slow guitar, that plays during the home building sequences. So much of the cutscene music; Master sword, Zelda and her 'transformation', the entire Demon Dragon reveal/chase cutscene music. The final battle. The main theme and it's consistent use/reference throughout. This OST is top-notch and it's shame people throw it to the side just because music doesn't constantly play when you're running around the overworld.

Right! TotK was more than strapping Koroks to ICMBs, guillotining Bokos and unleashing Giant Death Machines on villagers... It had proper epic scenes with epic music! Great rendition, by the way. This is one that deserves an impossible version like the one you did for Gerudu Valley from Ocarina.

I didn’t like the boss, despite the fact that I’m seemingly alone in that opinion, but the music definitely caught my attention during the fight.

@@chipperboi645 there's areas in the depths where you can fight the bosses for a second time, they respawn every blood moon(u can't refight siezed construct or yunobo, sludge like like, and the giant three headed volcano worm thing)

I love how the emotion of the music changes to hopeful in phase 3. Like "you got this far you can finish him off!" Genius
