I enjoy the other benefits Surge gives over Aegis, helps a lot more with aggression pvp. But indeed even in 2v2 if a team has 2x aegis it can be a very tough nut to crack because of its survivability. With Surge's mov speed you can control the flow of combat with your movement. And I don't always wait out the shield, I just dps through it. When Aegis shield is over it's over, but when Surge's shield is over you still got the other buffs. Though overall I feel like Aegis is too cheesy. It was the same with iceblock earlier, it was so good in a ridiculous way that I didn't want to "abuse" it. About dealing with Aegis, everyone should remember that it doesn't block, it just tanks. So it's possible to toy aegis with hard cc and snares, for example it's good value to slasher E incap, and then spear Q right after shield duration runs out. Counter/barrier can also be nice to use as it can put your opponent on "hold" while their shield is ticking down. It's completely fine to trade 1 ability for aegis in order to burst it down asap, increasing the tempo game on your opponent. You can hardly afford to wait it out as we got 3 abilities available. Cheap and good damage "combos" are things like reaper Q and with the snare hit 2-3 pistol autos. Axe Q + GS autos. Axe E + pistol autos. Aegis shines more in frailed duels. In OW where you can crit more, got blood, potions, possibly shards. You can quickly burst down an aegis.

Question on Reaper Q after incap, any reason why you used it instead of spear Q?
Spear Q will indeed do more damage but reaper Q allows for bigger disengage. Though in the vid i might have used reaper Q when spear Q was better.
