Great bikeways around Brisbane city. Good job you are doing riding and filming them..
Nice Bike Ride, Love The Graffiti.
Business man Keith Loyd built the house. It was then sold years later to someone who just used it as a holiday home and let it go to ruin. Supposedly had a ballroom and underground car park.
Hi, mansion was actually built in the 1980s by Millionaire Keith Lloyd who then built up the Lloyd ships luxury boatbuilding through the 90s. He added the big wharf in the 90s to moor his luxury boat to show off. He held a lot of parties there. It was sold to someone else in the 2000s. I don’t think Stephan bought it as he had his rooftop penthouse at Southbank and his canal side 3 storey place at Surfers Paradise. Great video and content, it has inspired me to return back to Brisbane for some bike trails on the Southside.😀
Thanks for the info on the pink house... It's massive. Yeah, I remember Stefan had his penthouse at Southbank.
9:00 That mansion on the river belongs/ belonged to "Stefan". He owned a large chain of hairdressing salons and was quite a Brisbane celebrity. He had a hobby of racing speedboats and you could often see his big, pink racing boat moored at that jetty.
The last I saw of the boat, it was for sale at one of the establishments on Ipswich road at Moorooka, just a couple of years ago.
Lol... I actually took a guess on that one and I said "Stefan" on the video... that was a punt as the house is pretty much pink! Wonder what happened to the guy....
I live not far from the Norman creek and bikeway. That tunnel just near Cornwall street that’s also on the thumbnail, I went up and explored a little bit I didn’t go too far up though. I wouldn’t mind seeing what is actually in it further up.
One day when I get some more time, we'll delve deeper into that tunnel 👀
Yet another ride to ad to the list. Have done east/west and the V1north from Moss street after watching your videos. Ever thought about a bit of a group ride? I for one would be up for that.
Might tee up a group ride in the future. Thanks for watching the vids!!
Awesome. You must do a tutorial on the garmin and the linking software.
Yeah, I will... Coming soon 👍👍

Great bikeway, also added to my bucket list when I get back to Brisbane, especially this one as it featured my old high school, COORParoo, love to check it out again 😁
hey john, how are you mate? been watching you for a while and enjoy your videos
Thanks James.... really appreciate it mate!
It would be great if you did a segment on your bikes, what you like about them and the upgrades if any, cheers.
Actually, that's a great idea. I do have a few things to share about my experiences with the bikes I have, and repairs I've had to do. Thanks for the suggestion👍👍
I would like that also. Looking to buy a bike but no idea much or of what accessories like the watch etc.
What happened to the merida e
Still got the eeeb, and still run around on it... But I love the workout I get on my analogue bike doing these urban cycleways.
Good guess hahah
