Was putting off watching this podcast for a while, but started about a month ago and have been watching pretty much a podcast a day, and having listened to quite a few in the past, Diary of a CEO is the best podcast out there. Each episode is the perfect length, amazing guests, not super technical in terms of speaking points where you start to get bored because you have no clue what they’re speaking about, and if it does get too technical, Steven digs deeper to simplify the points and make them digestible and keeps the conversation highly engaging. Everything that’s spoken about can resonate with anyone watching, and there are absolute gems in every single episode. Steven and his team have made it possible to literally have access to the world’s greatest minds, and Steven’s ability to ask great questions and actually listen, is second to none. I think Mike Thurston, Chris Bumstead, Iman Gadzhi, and Tristan Tate would be very interesting guests on here, and Gary Vee would be unreal. Thank you Steven and the whole team, keep it going. This podcast is allowing people to change their lives for the better. Everyone should also subscribe so these guys can invite people like Gary Vee and other industry titans on.

As an actual F1 fan, this was very interesting to listen, i listened to the "other side interview" with Toto Wolf on Nico Rosberg's channel, althought rosberg's one was not that deep i'd say, its really interesting to take a look at the different stories and background. Really top tier podcast as always
Thank you to Christian for a great interview....you mentioned being a fan of Nigel Mansell and so was I...during Nigel's time with Williams I bought a pair of Sega Mario/Willaims sneakers and I have fond memories of receiving them in the post (this is WAY before Amazon) and wearing them....This has been a great experience to remember.
I enjoyed the bit where he opens up a little bit about the anxiety he suffered, mainly because he doesn't really ever open up in a way that is relatable. After initial excitement this was abit of a let down. He's an amazing businessman with alot more going on than just the red bull racing team, it's a shame as I don't think we saw much past the surface sound bites. Would have loved to hear more about his upbringing, his dad's business and how that impacted him, his siblings, his overall approach to working with one of the biggest brands in the world, all whilst building his businesses. There have been a few and it would have been good to hear the real nitty gritty and stories. I've researched him alot in the past and this interview seems to be very similar to all the others he has done. Very controlled, saying stuff without saying much. Just go and check youtube yourself if you don't believe me. Would have liked you to also dig a little deeper into his responses. Love the show though, like I said previously it would be great to see Toto Wolff and then Lewis on
I agree, I am only a recent subscriber and a complete convert to the show (and think that Steven is an incredibly talented interviewer), but Horner was the least open guest I have seen so far. At one point, towards the end, Steven even appeared to try and give Christian permission to be honest (in relation to thinking about doing good) by answering the question for him, to allow Horner the space to actually admit that he "could always do more". However, to finish on a positive note, still loved the show!
He’s quick to have a dig at Toto over his antics in high pressure situations but not quick to mention when Max when he pushes others drivers in high pressure situations 😂
She is referring to the physical assault on Esteban Ocon, and if not that, the aggressiveness on track, which a lot of drivers have complained about. If the majority complain, it's obviously not deemed as sportsmanlike in this "racing" you're suggesting.
Christiana Horner, as a hardcore Mercedes AMG F1 Team Fan, Toto Wolff Fan, and LH fan - I have to say that I have the uttermost respect for You and the Red Bull Racing Team in which you have built into a winning machine. I am looking forward to seeing RBR crowned Constructor's Champions this year [2022] because you guys not only deserve it, but you were the better team. RBR completely annihilated Mercedes, Ferrari, and all other F1 teams this year! Of course, we the AMG F1 Team fans look forward to fighting you on track again in 2023 for the trophy back! But until then, I may or may not be wearing RBR merch in the meantime hehehehe! Congratulations and thanks for being such a down to earth human.
Despite breaching the budget cap last year? And probably this year, bearing in mind they believe they've done nothing wrong and the FIA's interpretation is wrong in their eyes...
@@buytolet-landlords We may be rooting for the same team (I assume). However, based upon what happened in Abu Dhabi in 2021, whatever advantage RBR may have had didn't seem to work for 90% of that race. The deciding factor of the title was that 1 team decided to risk track position because they had nothing else to lose, whilst the other team decided to be complacent and risk-free by not taking advantage of a clear opportunity to seal the deal. I think RBR should be dealt with accordingly for breaching the rules. However, I don't see any advantage they may or may not have had which led them to winning the drivers championship in 2021.
I appreciate the part talking about the time required to determine if an idea is good or bad over time. I’d say I’m general now days it seems we do not think about opportunity cost. Ok if we allocate our resources to this, what could that be taking away from or adding too, consequences foreseen and unforeseen. To me I tend to think generally in this way to keep my kind balanced like, not all old things are junk or bad. Not all new things are actually good and sometimes, a working process or policy doesn’t always need to be messed with. Sometimes they need to be left alone. Scrutinizing here or there of course and keeping open to the thought that innovations may come about to make this not the case anymore if that makes sense. I also think it’s important for true growth to do your best to accept your self. At your current levels always so you have a baseline to improve upon if you so desire. Not always so easy. But for me it has been a good thing. Especially learning what I am good at and what I am not so good at and excepting those facts at present and choosing where to allocate resources always considering opportunity cost. My opinion at this time. Liable to change as new info is learned processed and implemented. Very cool episode. Good luck out there.
You need the 7 time world champion Lewis on this podcast! 👏🏻 I wonder if Lewis does these though... because I feel would have already thought of bringing him in.
Always liked Christian as a person and as an F1 team principle what he has done with Red bull since 05 is unbelievable, when they started getting the odd win in 09 then onto multiple world championships seasons after was something that really shouldn't have happened a Drinks manufacturer showing several luxurious and supercar manufacturers how to win and we'll.

As an actual F1 fan, this was very interesting to listen, i listened to the "other side interview" with Toto Wolf on Nico Rosberg's channel, althought rosberg's one was not that deep i'd say, its really interesting to take a look at the different stories and background. Really top tier podcast as always
Looking forward to this one!
YOU DO KNOW KAREN HORNER IS A CHEAT ( READ THE NEWS )
Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off your goals.
Yeah, great interview, well done.
ITS THURSDAY!!!!!! Thank u again!!!!!!!
You're welcome 🙏🏽❤
Great episode. Make sure you change your iPad passcode occasionally. That one was filmed.
One of the best ever
Yes I agree Lewis Hamilton and deffo Toto Wolf if that is possible! Would be love to hear the team principals on your vlog!
Fxck no
What sound Gear do you use?
Christian keeps it real. simply lovely
I could be listening to Christian forever. His charisma is endless
He’s quick to have a dig at Toto over his antics in high pressure situations but not quick to mention when Max when he pushes others drivers in high pressure situations 😂
What?
You mean racing? That thing that racing drivers do?
She is referring to the physical assault on Esteban Ocon, and if not that, the aggressiveness on track, which a lot of drivers have complained about. If the majority complain, it's obviously not deemed as sportsmanlike in this "racing" you're suggesting.
Horner is just a douche. Always instigating and acting like he’s above board.
Fantastic 👍🤗💯
@@buytolet-landlords I'm sure all the decisions you've ever made in your entire life has all been perfect, and none of them are questionable at all :)
Incorrect. But I don't claim to have made achievements when having a clear advantage over others. Humility goes far and wide.
A championship is won over the course of a season, not just the last race of the season.
I love these two. ❤
You need the 7 time world champion Lewis on this podcast! 👏🏻 I wonder if Lewis does these though... because I feel would have already thought of bringing him in.
you don't NEED anything....Lewis is yesterdays news...great driver though...nothing more or less
Don't need him ,move on he is old news to where the sport is and where its going
Checo watching this like 👀👋🏼
Another great interview!
great cheat also
Not watched this yet but this is a surprise! Great scoop. Toto Wolff and Lewis Hamilton next please. Full thoughts coming...
