I like to think about how for all the time the Super Shotgun was lost (taken by demons), it had two spent shells just sitting in the barrels until Doomguy retrieved it and finally reloaded.

I feel it's merciful. I mean come on! he's literally just gonna sit there shaking like he's stroking out either forever or until someone else comes to control him! He's never gonna be human again and the other options are: be a mindless drone that's gonna sit there staring at the floor for eternity/staring at the wall of his pod or a bloodthirsty revenant in unending pain and rage killing humans and getting slaughtered by the doom slayer eventually anyways!
@@fredawoods3241 In Doom Eternal, most weapons do not require reloads, you can just keep firing as long as you have ammo. The only exception is the Super Shotgun, which has a reload animation every time it's fired.
there are reload animations, the ssg, the sbomb after firing three, the shields for the energy shield, the rocket launcher every normal shot. even the plasma rifle has a reload animation, you just don't see it in normal gameplay
ngl tho Doom slayer taking out the bfg 9000 and with the sounds of it is actually so epic. I could literally bring the end to the entire furry race with one shot of an energy ball from it. Imagine taking it out whilt furries be there trying to confront you and you be there like "go one, face me if you there" with the bfg 9000 desperately waiting to be fired. You can literally become the king with it
A noisy 3D plstformer which ruins the pseudo-intellectual posturing by having colourful power ups emerge from the final boss (God) as you fight him and making silly noises when they do. The bright colours, in game currencies and power ups and other elements are ripped from a mobile game. I literally mostly like the cutscenea. If I wanted to learn Combos I'd play a fighting game. If I wanted hard, boring 3D platforming, I'd stck my head in cold water then maybe have an energy drink and read a book or something, maje my brain work!
