I kinda do the bowl method in the shower without the bowl. The same jar of curl cream conditioner from cantu. squish to condish. Bent forward under shower, brush through with denman brush once to separate hair. put brush aside and gather hair squishing upwards, wet, squeeze, total of 3-4 times. After squeezing out as much water from my ringlets as possible I put my turbie twist towel under to catch my hair. After I've secured the towel , I squish out as much water as I can , because I am impatient.
This makes so much sense! Cos the idea is just to distribute product and water through the hair right? So you get the same result but bypassing the bowl. I'll try it next wash day, thanks for the tip!
If all else fails, contact your local curly hair specialist ( these hairstylists specialize in curls ) and go get a cut or book her, tell her your concerns & she will jumpstart your journey for you bc her profession is knowledgeable in CURLS !! Products , styling methods , brushes , all that !
Currently holed up in rural Poland and I don't think there's any curly hair specialists within hitchhiking distance lol but I'll def look into it when back in Australia. I'd love for a pro to tell me exactly what I need to do!
Quantum leap in editorial skills and you are a natural storyteller. Keep them coming!
thanks, this one was a lot of work but I think I'm learning :)
Super well made video and really informative, especially since I always used to just brush my curly hair out. Love to see the journey 👌
Thank you! I wasn't sure if documenting all my failures as a total beginner would be helpful to anyone so I'm glad you found it informative :)
ur curls looks so good!!!! i m still finding my routine :D!
Thank you! ♥️ You can do it, it wasn't as hard as I expected tbh
You got your best hair with bowl method imo
I agree! It was definitely my favourite.

Ah I remember trying all of these techniques!! Well done, your hair is so shiny and beautiful. Try manes by Mel for a great denman brush tutorial
Thank you! I def need to work on the Denman brush technique.
The algorithm brought me here. You look like a big TH-camr so remember me when you are big!!
