Don't call it "Dubai in Africa", We Africans have our own deserts and everything that comes with it. In fact, the biggest of them all is the sahara and it's right there in Africa.
That's correct, the sahara and the Namib are such beautiful deserts! The Chalbi in Kenya is equally gorgeous

@@pietrojenkins6901 totally agree, it's much better to have forests and fertile lands. Desert life is very hard but the Arabs have managed to glamorize it. Dubai in particular has done a great job at marketing desert safaris and activities!

Kenya is huge & every region has it's own type of climate, The Northern parts towards Ethiopia are Usually extremely hot & dry but you'd find Central & the Rift valley Cold & west cause this is where Mountains & highlands are, the South Rift where Nairobi county is located is usually Savannah hence the climate is cool & wet. The Western Region is warm & wet while the Coastal region where Mombasa County is it's usually tropical. In Kenya regional Climates can dramatically change as you travel through the country.

True! Like when I was in Amboseli and I was being shown around the Maasai Village they were telling us how they go to Tanzania to buy stuff they need just across the border.

I have been 2 times to Marsabit and Chalbi desert 32 years ago. You needed a robust 4wd to get there , the road was a un paved track, dangerous. But the place was amazing. I worked at Turkwel gorge dam construction in late 80.s….. thx for your wonderful sharing
