I just started watercolor painting, never painted before and am already obsessed. I did your field of poppies demo and already learned so much! This one is also really beautiful, I guess I will also give it a try. Thank you from Germany for putting the material out there.

Absolutely stunningly beautiful! And fascinating to watch (over and over) as you bring it "to life"! I've always wanted to watercolor, you've inspired me to pull those brushes and tubes out of the cabinet!
Thank you so much. I did a practice piece on student grade paper then another on Arches paper based on your video. I learned to make my flowers longer and slimmer, to lighten the pink color, to use spattering to add texture and to add more layers of paint than I usually do for extra intensity. Additionally, adding the stems bending in the breeze created great motion. I will use these techniques in other paintings now. You are appreciated.

No worries :)) so whenever someone wants to buy a painting they email me directly or if someone inquires in comments, I ask to email me, there are some pictures of my paintings on my website but honestly I don't have time anymore to keep updating it haha ☺️🌸😍
When I watch your demonstrations, I am reminded of the importance of details! I think I stop too soon. I notice that you only apply small amounts of paint to your pallet. Is that your normal practice? Do you find it keeps your paint fresher? I really enjoy your videos. I don't know how I missed this one!

Your demos are so inspiring! Your style produces beautiful results. Thank you! I notice that you apply tape only to the watercolor paper for a frame but you do not tape paper to a flat surface. How do you avoid buckling?
Hi Rosemarie☺️thank you so much for your kind words! and yes that is very true, I tape my paper only to get the white frame, not to hold it down.. otherwise I feel like the paper gets trapped and it's like it can't breathe if you tape it to a surface. My paper stays flat because I lay it flat on a glass ( a kitchen cutting board glass). When there's water, the paper sticks to the glass :)
