I have a question FixTronics how can I change the bios version & number only cause when I try to flash the bios in the bios software it checks a fiew list bud tells me that its the same version and version number. While its on 2012 version and im trying to install 2020 version. example 2012 A12 v vs 2020 A12v so it cause a problem when install how can I change it to A16 and a random version number so I can bypass that error.

So dose the method used in this Video still work in 2023 on Win 11?
You need to have a programmer like CH341 or RT809F or any kind of bios programming tool.. So you either use on board clip to connect the chip to the programmer or you can desolder the chip and attach it to its appropriate adapter, then you read it and make a backup of its bin file

The first 4 values in my backup cannot be found in the hdr file, my back up is 32mb HDR is 37.7mb would that make any difference.
